How to use a bat/chillum?

Alright, so when you're using one of these things do you still need to grind up your ganja or do you just take a little bit of bud and pack it in? It seems like it would fall out if you broke it up a lot... wouldn't it? ... am I crazy?

Everyone always talks about how awesome chillums are and it would be super easy to carry around, so now I want to try it :jointsmile:

i love my chillum. and i always grind the bud up. BUT you have to be careful. at least with my chillum, you have to hold it at like a 45 degree angle or else it will fall out. but pack it tight and make sure you hold the top up and you're set. smoke and enjoy.

I love my bat! I would smoke it while I was snowboarding. I used a jet lighter and it would light while I was going down the hill. So I would light it, smoke a bowl on the way down, then pack a new one on the lift.

Of all the genius that surrounds the marijuana culture, no development is as simply awesome as the dugout with a bat. You can get a nice chillum but it will break. Get a dugout at that holds a half cigarette bat and a your weed. It is the best thing for on the go. Grind your weed, load the storage side of the dugout, push your bat down in the green, pull it out, level it a bit, hit it and quit it. Mine fits perfectly in my pocket, holds more than enough for a day out and about, and is inconspicuous. I was on foot once runnign from the cops and i was able to toss it in some bushes and get it the next day. Even if I had lost it, They sell them here for like 15 bucks so it wasnt going to break my bank.
