My mom never cooked for my ass, so I've been surviving like this for a while. I want to go to the grocery store and buy some new stuff, but I'm not aware (please help, I beg of you stoners). I hope this will become successful.
I'm getting tired of eating mashed/baked potatoes, egg sandwiches, speghetti, ramen noodles, frosted mini spooners cerial, peanuts, bread, hamburger helper, macroni, rice (w/ meat/fried/in seaweed) and beans and the occasional bananas/grapes/carrots.
Filling, Nutritious and Low Cost; does anyone have any secrets? Spit em out! So hungry...:sadcrying

Hey man,
Cooking great food is not rocket science.
1. Get a couple cook books.
2. Pick a recepe that looks good and write down and go shop for the ingredients.
3. Follow the directions step by step.

MM Dutch Pimp that sounds like the ultimate munchie food... and funny, last night I served a pile-o-nachos and assorted tex-mex dips to a couple similarly- minded folks who came over for dinner and a spliff or 4... lol... Finger food rox my sox. Fuck formal dinner parties. You want a 5 course meal at my place, you bring it yo'self.
Another favorite is bruschetta, and it takes half of no time to make...
A loaf of bread
A can of diced tomatoes, drained
Fresh basil leaves (dry is kinda meh, but go nuts)
A couple cloves of garlic
PArmesan cheez
-slice bread
-Brush olive oil on to bread slices
-lay in a single layer on the tray of your toaster oven
-toast until JUST getting crispy, remove from oven
-Crush garlic and stir into drained tomatoes.. also add fesh basil if you have it.you may also want to preheat the mix in the microwave
-scoop tomato and garlic mix over oiled and toasted bread
-sprinkle with parmesan
-back in the oven until the cheese is turning a little color
mmm

beans and tortillas are my standard college fair. throw in a little cheddar cheese and canned chicken for extra points. heat it all up in one pan, slap it on the tortilla, munch away. good solid fare
