What're your favorite names?

Male: Ronan, Seamus, Patrick, Ryan, Collin

Female: Elanor, Lisa, Erin, Samantha

This sounds REALLY corny, but I like Indica and Sativa for girl names, especially if twins. I also like Free! too. Although it makes him/her sound like a prostitute.

What about you?

Male: John, Charles, David, Robert, William, Edward (the classics)

Female: Eleanor, Meredith, Katherine, Elizabeth, Mary, Madeleine (again, classics)

Pets: I have so far favored pet-sounding names for my own crew. Like Buddy and Daisy and so on. But I intend to start using scientific/cellular/anatomic names for future animals. Langerhans and Purkinje are on my list. I really love the idea of incorporating Indica and Sativa into names, too, PB!

boy- Sean
girl- Sophia

If I have kids with my boyfriend I cant use the name Sean because his sister named her son that. I never thought of them but Damian and Dominic are cool names too.

I love the name Gaz... Like the guy from Supergrass, Gaz Coombes. I also like Syd.

LOL purkinje, BG! Good one! How about naming one of 'em Orthostatic hypotension? Or what about pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis?

I had a dream I had 2 cats, one named Syd, the other Lucifer Sam. I guess I was listening to too much early Floyd that night before bed :P

For a dog, I'd like to name him "Ask'im..."

"What's your dog's name?"
"Ask'im"

the thing about names are that they stick with you your whole life. take my name for ejemplo: VIRGINIA. that right, Virginia. When I was little, Virginia was an old fashioned sounding name that was too sophisticated for a rambunctious ball of trouble. nowadays, it suits me better as it fits my unique nature. and when i get older, it will be even better.
I like Spanish names and old fashioned names, so here are my faves:
female: Imelda, Ines, Fatima (arabic, yes.), Clara, Alice, Amy,
male: Jaime, Jeremy, Eduardo, Clay, Patric, Cristobol

we had/have dogs named Hugo, Zanzibar, Brandy, Chip and Tycho.
