Dormed it up for a year at the state Uni. Then took a year at a school in the city, so I got the best of both worlds experience-wise. Now, just trying to figure everything out. Got some engineering and architectural credits, but ehhh, I'd really rather not work a 9-5 job for the rest of my life. Working on getting a record label started up, so I might just go the music route and get paaaaaaid.

that sounds like a really fun major. Do you get to smoke and then go watch deer in the woods or anything of that nature? Because if you do that would be a good reason to switch my major to yours.

Yeah, an engineering-focused university in the Denver metro area, going for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. I am thinking about switching to Mathematical and Computer Sciences, though...I have to decide by next week if I want to be able to register in time to not get behind a semester.

I'm one facebook, to whoever asked. Facebook + Cann.com = ultimate time wasting tool!

Mines? I applied to Mines and got accepted. Thank god I didn't go because I realized there is *zero* tail and high mathematical expectations....which I am not comfortable with either.

What in the world does the sentence mean? Tail expectations? Did you mean tall?

And are you saying that at my school there are zero expectations for mathematics? Because if you are, you pretty obviously do not know what you are talking about.

And where do you go, then?

haha exactly.

Tail as in ass as in pussy as in women as in female as in the selection at Mines is very poor.

'high mathematical expectations' means that they expect you to know your various forms of math.

Therefore, no tail and high mathematical expectations doesn't sound like a great 4 years to me.

I mean, I know there isn't any tail at Mines, but you haven't completely forgotten about it have you? ;)

Hey, idiot: I'm a chick!! I'm part of that small group of tail, so I get all the action I want. LOL. For men that is an issue with coming here, but not for me. Nice job.

So I don't think of the word "tail" in the sense of women (or men), since I don't objectify people, so that is why I thought that it was a typo and that you were saying there were "zero tall, high mathematical expectations," and thus saying that the expectations were low.

Sorry for misreading it because I don't think like a guy.

Ah, that would be our failure to communicate.

Girl or guy, tail is pretty universal. Not to be confused with tall. Though you could find some tall tail. Not to be confused with tall tales.

Good school though. Mines is like colorado's ivy league engineering. I hear when you have a piece of paper with mines on it, you can write your ticket anywhere in colorado. I just couldn't bear that environment.

Yeah, my brother is graduating this year, and it was pretty hard on him as a guy. As a girl it really isn't that bad, especially since most of my friends have always been guys anyway.

And yeah, you pretty much just have to have graduated and you are going to be making at least $60,000 a year right out of school. It's pretty awesome...

Ah, but advocates can. Probably worth pointing out here that I'm a believer but not an actual user. When I retire, I plan to smoke like a train. Until then, I'll help fight the good fight as a "sober" person who strongly advocates its legalization.

I'm going to grad school when I am done here, and I don't plan on quitting. Potheads, not just advocates, can be grad students too... :)
