hi guys, i've been searching for a female crested for two weeks now. i've found several, but there's one catch that's keeping me at a dead end. i have 100$ to spend. i have a male, a pretty lavender dalmation, and i need to find him a mate.

so, all you lizard lovers and herp hippies, please help me look, and if you find a bargain, please post. if you can find me a female for less than my 100$ budget, i'll send you the excess cash.

thanx!

kp :p

Available (http://www.thecrestedgecko.com/available.htm)

They have one female near the bottom of the page that costs exactly $100. She's like the third from the bottom in the right hand column.

Anthony Caponetto Reptiles - ACReptiles.com (http://www.acreptiles.com/available_ciliatus.htm)

I found this page that also has a few in your price range. You might want to check it out.

here's one with tank for 150, maybe you can work out some kinda deal without the tank?

Here's a reptile oriented classifieds site, very handy, especially the forums.

Another thing, if you plan on keeping them in the same cage, you may want to consider quickly getting a second female too. Males can be quite aggressive breeders, and may stress out a single female pretty bad.

its going to be extremely hard to find a colorful female in that price range especially with shipping. your best bet would probably hit every petco in your area. i have found some really nice subadult female crested from there, and if you get a jewlers loupe and learn to look for pores you find females even smaller. they either come from gourmet rodent or repashy reptiles. both are reputed breeders.

Petco is fucking disgusting. Their animals live in overcrowded cages, most are malnurished, and the sick ones live with the healthy. Don't buy from them.
