quit smoking cigs

2 packs a day for 30 years. Now at 2.5 days not smoking. Started to loose it today. Went to market and dumb ass blond cashier totals me up at $16.49. I hand her $22.00. She tries to give me the 2 bucks back! Some people just NEED to be slapped!
Went home and took a nap...feeling better now :)

Ive been smoking on and off for the last 2 years and just kicked it basically a week or so ago. Smokers will know what I mean when I say that I really quit and am not just telling myself I quit because I haven't smoked in 48 hours or something, or because I only had "one" black and mild or something.

I love weed and would never quit that, so I figured one has to go and I hate the way my body feels from smoking cigs. I have found that if you aren't a complete addict you can kick smoking by keeping your mind occupied. Taking walks, drives, or just being in school or associated with recreational events are great ways. Also, those periods of boredom that make most of us smoke...you just have to do something else such as chew gum.

dude, it makes complete since. he wanted her to take it give him a five and the change. it would've been faster and easiar for everyone plus he would have less bills to carry around... think about it.

Congrats, man. I had one cig in my lifetime, AFTER starting ganj, and it felt so wrong, I didn't want to inhale because it felt poisonous, and it burned more than a j. Plus the taste was pretty gross, and after looking at the filter when I was done, I was thinking 'How could someone smoke one more of these, let alone a whole pack?'

But I hear they're way addictive, so kudos for quitting, and best of luck!

people always do that at my work to get back a 5, or 10, or whatever, instead of a few dollar bills. whenever i try to do it when im shopping, people always act like im the dummy and try to give me the money back the same way they did to you.

I gave the condensed verion earlier. It was actually worse. She tried to give me the two back and I said "No, I want a five back." She looked like she wasn't sure if she was going to cry or wet herself so I gently said, "Go ahead, put it in the computer and it will work out." She still heasitated and I had to give her one more nudge. "Go ahead."
I come across here as a hard ass but in real life I'm a pretty gentle guy. She was just too stupid to live. Or at the very least she should have been nutered at birth!

Ive been trying to quit for a long time, most I managed was about a week. It really fucked up my emotions though, somebody raised their voice slightly at me and I felt like I could break down a cry. Then theres the times when you just stare into nothingness for ages....What helped me though was getting really high using bongs, made me forget I needed a smoke.
