Couple ?'s from a newb grower

So as of now im germinating 2 seeds between some paper towels. When they start to root, i plan on just putting them in the soil im using. this is going to be an outside grow. I was just wondering is it possible to grow a plant with just a basic diet of sun and water. No nutes or anything else. and also can i just plop it in the soil outside seeing as how i cant start it off inside?

Go to where there is other weeds growing, prep that spot and plant them. Might work, they are weeds also.:)

Has anyone had personal success with a ghetto grow? i have reptiles so i set it up so i can have it sprout about 2-2.5 inches, then transplant into the outdoors.
