does anybody know at what shops that sell scales besides headshops, that you can weigh weed at, a shop like publix or something? any shop that ur mom and dad wouldn't go to and question it basicly lol.
Thats a tough question. Small scales like the kind that are used for drugs are usually only in head shops. I have never seen one in any other kind of place. You might have some luck buying a bigger scale at a educational store or maybe even a hardware store, but I dont know.

I think I saw 11 lb. digital scales at Walgreens. I'm not sure how the measuring increments go (they might just go in 1 gram increments), but they measured in grams and ounces. $30 is sort of a rip off though, i'm sure you can find a better, more accurate scale for less on eBay or somewhere else.
Keep an eye out for 'Pocket Scales' or 'Gram Scales' though. Something similar to this.

Do you have a Harbor Freight? Orange sign. Its a hardware store that sells *cheap* tools from handtools to generators to hoists and winches. Very cool store for budget minded do-it-yourselfers. Go up there and ask for a mini digital scale. under 12.00 out the door. It is digital, weighs up to 200grams....as well as reads in other incriments.

If you have the store called The Source (used to be Radio Shack), they sell a fancy digi scale for $25 I think I saw it for. It goes up to 250g's.
Try Staples, that office store.
Or a baking or kitchen utility store of some kind. They commonly use small or large scales to weigh their raw materials.

Yea I'd say check ebay, office max, staples or other postal stores. Personally I bought mine at the Chevron near my apt. Although you probably don't wanna buy a scale that measures large weights because when measuring small weights on it, the margin of error is too large. If you going to deal with quarters and such you might want something that measures in .01g increments you might be able to get away with .1

On my birthday I went into a headshop to buy a bong and I saw a man in a business suit, very professional looking, about 40, and he was looking at scales and snorting accessories lol.
I want to get a scale to measure my cannabis, but I don't want to have it when I am also growing pot. Those 2 together make it appear that you would be dealing it too. cultivation for personal Use- Not a big offense, cultivation with intent to sell- Bye bye freedom.
I think that if I store a digital scale in my kitchen with all my powdered cooking things, then it wouldn't seem out of place.

hot rags at most malls, $18 for a 500 gm scale for **cough jewelry, they also sell grinders for "oregano" Salvia for "incence" and dime bags with pot leaves on them "also for jewelry" so everything is legit. lol
but they have tons of decently priced scales and anything else you might need except for glass pipes
