weed and your eyes?

Well this is my first time posting on the medical forum, but I have a question related to the story.

So today I'm gonna get my annual eye test to see if its better or worse. Last year I went they told me my eye sight was getting worse. That was when I used to smoke lightly, the odd 1/8th every month.

Well 1 year on, and the only thing that has changed is my smoking. I now smoke about 1/8th to a Q every 2-3 weeks.

So I'm at my opticians and after the test he tells me that my sight has improved substantially.

So I'm wondering, is it because of cannabis or is it something else?
