According to the latest study (google Jon Gettman to read the article yourself) of domestic marijuana production in the good ole US of A we are growing 32 billion dollars of merry j wanna per year. Of course nobody knows for sure but Jesus H Christ thats a lot of weed. Apparently we've passed the next two highest cash crops, corn and wheat, combined. Now I've noticed that the blogs and seed sellers seem to get five times as much action in the indoor side of the business as compared to the outdoor. But this study says us outdoor boys have them beat by a seven to one ratio. I have to wonder if Mr Gettman is pulling numbers directly out of his ass. Any comments?

I can see that being true. I thinks there is a lot more indoor growers, but the fewer outdoor growers way outproduce them on a per plant / per op basis. I know that Cuz produces way more with just a few outdoor plants once a year, than what I used to be able to produce indoors under a 400 halide and a 250 hps in the same hood all year long. I had to go outdoors a few yrs back cause I have a wife and a young daughter in the house now. However, if I had realized how much easier it is to produce more and better results, I would have never grown indoors to begin with. The yeild and quality I get under the good ole sun can not be duplicated with indoor lights.
