currently, i think that the presidential cannidates are just for popularity than actual policy. One side we have what could be the first women pres. and on the other we have what might be the first black man as pres. neither of them seem to have a very good policy, and both are already getting tons of shit for it. so im just wondering what everyone elses views on this stuff is.

It's hilarious watching these two assclowns rip each other down. LMAO! By the time they have to match up against the right they won't have enough ass left to make a difference.

I predict a swing to the right in "08". The dems have clearly made themselves out to look like fools so far.

Unless the American public takes a massive dose of sleeping pills (not too unbelievable at this juncture) or the re-pubes stage another "Terror attack", the Dems are a shoe in. The war has finally made the Dems the party of choice. It is up to the Democrats to not lose the election, so far, they have it in the bag, no matter who wins the primary. Like I said, it will take a staged terrorist attack to put the Re-pubes in front. I only hope the Sheeple can see through that one. (BTW, I fully expect the Re-pubes to implement the attack scenario) We have far too many unprotected sites that Bushco has shined on leaving that prospective wide open.

LMAO!!! Up for another side wager my liberal friend? I say the republicans hold the executive office and gain back control in one of the two houses. What do ya say?:D

By the way, all reports state that the surge is having positive effects. NOW they even have civilians giving info on the insurgents/terrorists there. Can't wait to see all the nice words you'll be stating about me.

You must have inside info on the next staged terror attack. I'll take that bet unless The Re-pubes blow some more americans up to hold on to power. The American public are not too interested in whats really going on around them, so it would be easy to do. Without a new Staged attack, the Dems are a shoe in. The thing is, neither one of them are very good, It's just a lessor of the two evils thing.

I've been keeping track of the Iraq situation from the start and it has been showing gradual improvements that really never gets covered by the news.

I predict that towards the end of this year beginning of next we start to scale back. By the time the actual elections hit you'll see some of these dems on tv stating that even though they voted against it AFTER they voted for it just remember this, we voted for it in the first place. LOL

I wonder if there's a way I could lock down the price of a fixture till then.....hmmmmmm:D

A guy who I would've voted for if he ran was Mark Warner, ex-governor of Virginia. His reform of the tax code in Virginia, his fiscal responsiblity, business sensibility, continuance to fund education, and expand transportation systems makes him the perfect choice for president. After years of the fiscal irresponsiblity by Bush, we need someone who can reduce the deficit, and make strides for the government to become better managed. Mark Warner already did that for Virginia.

Of all the presidential hopefuls on the democrat aisle, this is the only guy who has any real credit.

And I could use a new XT Crankset on my Mt Bike...

Its not just the Iraqi War That a Lot of folk are sick and tired of, its the fact the Bush administration does what It wants to, not nessarly what is good for this country...The fact that Halliburton,Brown and Root got ALL of the military supply and logistacal contratacs (sp) in a NO BID situation (Just awarded to Chenys ex-Company),The fireing of attys that did'nt do things Their way,The NSA wiretapping Scandal,Overbroad Snooping in peoples private lives,(Internet,Mail,Phone) The idea of a "Homeland Security Dept. (The Only Other Government in History to have a Dept. of Homeland Security was Hitlers) I could go on for an hour...

As a very wise man once said..."Those who are willing to trade Security for Freedom,Deserve Neither" Thomas Jefferson!!

With Freedom comes risk...The risk that not everyone is gonna see things the same way I or You do...If it wer'nt for freedom of the press you and I would'nt be having this debate rite now...Just look at the way China controls its Internet...I don't wnat THAT kind of "Security"!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly, Bush runs this country like a spoiled little rich boy. "I want it so I'm gonna get it". He either doesn't think, or simply doesn't care, about the long term ramifications of what he does. He really thinks that he can do whatever he wants because he's the President and that because he's the President that makes it ok. He's literally said so a number of times. The bottom line is that Bush doesn't really care what's best for the country, he cares what best for Lil' Georgie. If that's good for the country then great. If not, well...he's the President so that makes it ok.

I really can't believe the Republicans have a chance next year. The Dems are gonna have to do something really, really, really stupid to lose it. Even though he's out one way or another, a huge percentage of people are going to be voting against Bush. By that I mean they will simply associate the Republicans with Bush so they'll vote the other way.

It's too bad really. It just means that, as usual, people won't be voting for who's best, but for a party. That's not saying the Dem candidate won't be the best (or the worst), just that it really won't matter.
