:s4:Hey any of you that use a vaporizer, can you tell me how much easier it is on your lungs? I have Chronic Bronchitis and Asthma, so I can't smoke anymore. I have been making cannabutter and baking, but I want to know about vaporizers. Thanks everyone in advance for your help.

Way way way easier on the lungs. It's just like inhaling hot air. I actually find vaporzing weed to be a pleasant experience for my throat and lungs.

Your lungs will be in heaven. If you take too big of a rip it will probably hurt more than a bong, but once you get used to take more smaller hits you will have a blast.

Sup ,
I have a vapor bros. take off . A vapor cannon from vaporwarez -n- i love it man . It makes your stash last a crazy long time too . I got a hands free version w/ a 5 yr. warranty on heating element for like 119.00 delivered and been using it for about 18 mos. now . Nomore nasty morning oysters and heavy lungs , and you can use vapeovers in brownies and get high twice .

Honey, I've toked for 40 years now (NO tobacco). My lungs were a mess. It took all of 2 weeks of vaping for my lungs to get clear. I have no morning cough, no "gluppy" lungs and my stash goes further. The high is slightly different than toking. You aren't getting the CO2 and other chemicals that are produced in burning plant material. But you get most definitely stoned. I make some great brownies with the "duff"- I like to add hemp seed (available at your local health food store for about $6 a pound- yummy and VERY good for you nutritionally) to them as well as walnuts. And yes, the brownies will get you wasted. Recycling at it's best :D - Granny:hippy:

I use an herbalaire. It rocks. Good price too. Haven't compared it to other vapes, but I'm glad I got it. Works like a volcano at half the price.

 I am in the same boat, that being someone with asthma, so I sympathize with your situation. I have been vaporizing for about five years now and highly recommend that you try. However, it may not be the answer. Vaporization still has the potential to irritate the lungs. One of the problems with vaporization is that you tend to sit and vaporize over a longer period of time than you would if you were smoking. So there is still plenty of potential for irritation with vaporization. One solution is filtering the vapor through water via a bong. Sometimes water filtration does not provide the necessary relief. Specifically, if you have seasonal allergies that trigger asthma, like me, then vaporization might not be a good idea.

Due to my seasonal allergies, I have become a seasonal/occassional vaporizer. The rest of the time I eat or drink my thc. Like you I bake with cannabutter. My favorite recipe is the double chocolate cookie. The butter process can be time consuming as well as resource consuming. As you probably know, one can go through alot of weed if cooking.

I recently discovered an alternative to cannabutter, which I highly recommend. My recommendation is an alcohol tincture of thc. It is incredibly simple to make, consumes less weed than the cannabutter, and is as potent as you want to make it. You need to look for Master Wu's recipe for Green Dragon right here on the Cannabis.com forum. I am using green dragon this allergy season.

Once the tree pollen disappears and temps come back up, I will return to vaporization. As for vaporizers, if you are new to this type of product, I can provide accurate reviews of several vaporizers: vapirs, supreme vaporizer, and the eterra. I hear volcanos are good, but I cann't justify the $450 price tag. Never used the wicked roots vaporizers, but here again the price tage is too high. Accurate reviews are very hard to come by with respect to vaporizers.

Hope this helps. mjlupi the hemphistorian
