It is my understanding that other drugs are not mentioned on this site so that the website will not get shut down.

My question is this, why does mentioning other drugs besides weed put this site at higher risk for being shut down then talking about weed?

Yes, I know that, that's true but what I'm asking is how mentioning those other drugs puts this site at a higher risk of being shut down from a legal stand point.

Actually there are other message boards dedicated to other things, and they are comparable to a community like this one. Unless you've tryed these 'dangerous' drugs, you have no say on how 'dangerous' they are and don't judge.

Anyway.......

I guess I kind of brought this on...but I meant alcohol mostly...some threads stay and others are gone. But, it's like whatever, not really the biggest deal to me, just want to make that clear. Just think you should be more apt to talk about a legal substance (much like cannabis should be) than getting a blowjob or video games.

Yeah it's true weed is about as illegal as heroin and coke if not more because it has "no recognized medicinal value," making it a schedule 1 drug, whereas coke and opiates are schedule 2.

I also hear that talk of other LEGAL drugs is no longer tolerated...

Because this is cannabis.com. There used to be another drugs section, and honestly, although it was fun...it did get a little crazy. This site did a 180 to where it is now, and it's a good thing in the end.

I understand other things, but alcohol should be treated like video games IMO. Maybe make another forum for people to talk about their love for different kinds of beer or something, I dunno. It is a hobby to many.

sundance doesnt want them here. He makes the rules. We just have to follow them. To be honest though since they cracked down on the other drug talk its been a lot nicer here. There used to be lots of posts from fairly young kids asking pretty stupid questions. They didnt keep it to the other drugs section when we had it either. I think most people thought it was pretty annoying (at least I thought it was).
