seeds and distributors

ok i've been seeing seed distributors every where and it's really been killing me i mean there is some great bud out there and getting seeds where you actually know the strain kinda hard to do. i was just wondering if anyone living in the US has ever used any of the sites or companies which ones, and possible reprocussions. i mean it seems like they wouldnt even ship them out here but i dont know. anyone out there with first hand experience with this??????
