So I'm in a dillemna. I'll tell the backstory.
One of my good friends goes out with another of my good friends. One is a great person and a smoking buddy. The other is some chick who I've known for a few years and has been a great friend to me. The other night, the chick was drunk and cheated on my smoking buddy. The kid she cheated with knew she had a boyfriend, but still continued to do whatever they did. Well later that night in her drunken haze, she tells me his name. Now to what is happening right now.
My friend really wants to find out who this kid is, and I'm one of the only ones that knows his name and who he is. Should I keep it a secret, or tell my homie everything I know? How should I go about doing this?

if hes ur real good friend you'd do it. if i were him and i trusted you that much id tell. she shouldnt have cheated in the first place. i think its right for him to find out and for you tell on her. it'll make everything fair.

I don't remember exactly if she didn't make me promise, but she just said:
"i wsassa dizgn stfj wit thsis kidkzz jossh"
Then the next day this is what happened
Me: So who was that kid again? I'm not talking to Joe right now so I can't tell him
Her: some kid josh
There's been so very many incidents of cheating. Every time I hear of a man becoming wanting revenge, for his woman-who made the choice-sleeping with another man, I see it all so fruitless. You're in a predicament yourself though. You, as a friend, stand for loyalty and you have a duty to be honest to him. As his voice of reason, I believe you have more responsibility than just telling him the fellow's name.
tell him and low and behold the ass whooping !!!!!!!!

The chick fucked up and the guy is innocent, but I just don't want to ruin my friendship with either of them.

Um.
Tell your friend. She never said not to tell 'em. Also, does he know she cheated?
It was the dumb kid who fucked a chick he knew had a boy friend, he should think before he acts. You can't always get away with that shit, so definitely tell your boy so he can show him what happens when you do that shit.
Its not the girl your protecting here, so I don't see the dilemma. Your protecting some douche who shoulda known there was potential for an ass-kicking for what he did.
You say the chick fucked up, but the guy knew she had a boyfriend? No doubt, she fucked up, but you can't kick a girls ass so might as well let the guy take the fall.

What good would giving up the persons identity do but cause more static. I stay just leave it alone. You're in high school, the relationship was not serious enough just by saying that, but she also cheated on him.
He should be glad its over.

Stay out of the drama. He'll found out one day anyway. Just pull your boy off her!
I believe each of them are mature enough to know that you are a neutral party. You can explain things to the girl if she were to get angry, and just hope she understands that the man deserves to know.

was the other guy drunk too, or did he take advantage of the fact that she was drunk? I think it should be up to the girl to tell your friend. If you really value both of them as friends, and want to remain friends with both if the relationship ends, than you should stay as far away from all this as you can. If he's your best friend and shes just some girl you've known for a while but aren't great friends with than I guess you could tell him. I still think it should be up to her to do it though because shes the one who fucked up.

if she cheated on him with a different guy, yes tell him, bros before hoes, but if your metaphorically using the term "my friend" to represent you, then no, talk to the girl about it, if you think you can make her happier then that other guy then by all means move in.
just a hunch btw, im not certain if its you.

id tell. ive been cheated on a few times and had to hear it from other people. it sucks but its better to know than to not.
if he never finds out, how guilty will you feel when you see them together? if not at all, then screw it and forget about it. if its gonna bug you, then jabber ya jaw and tell.

04-03-2007, 12:18 AM
nope, talk to her, ask her if she plans to tell him, if not, then anomalously let him note, put a note in his locker, it was a party man, more than one person is likely to see that kind of thing. thats the best way to keep yourself from getting burned and prevent you from burning them

It's not Josh's fault, it's the girls fault for getting drunk, no one is forcing her to drink and do things she's going to regret. I think it's her fault, yes, Josh knew, but still, your friend knew too that she had a boyfriend.
I'd say tell him.

bro if the other guy alreay knows he was cheated don't put wood to the fire, it doesnt matter who jumped the fence , the dude should leave her ,that's a good reason not to go out with that person there's no respect in that relationship, you should stay out of it, and she fucked up.........

well thats what you should do anyway. its the girls fault, she's the one who fucked up. the other guy...well, even in these circumstances, you can't blame a guy for trying to get some. it's not his obligation to keep your girl faithful to you.

if the guy knew she had a boyfriend, its just as much his fault as it is hers. maybe not completely 100% as much, but if that is the case then he still holds a piece of the fault.
