View Full Version : Need an answer about Cannabutter/Brownies NOW

Okay, so I've made brownies with oil before and it was aight. However, I like butter better, so I plan on doing that this time instead. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how much butter I will need. The recipe on the box says oil, but I'm assuming I can just substitute butter. Do I just melt a few sticks until it matches the amount of oil in liquid measurement? Or what?

on the box of brownie mix it should say how much butter is required per batch. use that figure and you will do fine

Unfortunately the box I have only gives the amount required for oil. Trying to figure out how to go from butter>oil.

i recall a friends recipe consisting of one stick... but i'm not sure

Yep melted butter = oil

Make sure you used enough cannabis in the butter!

then share a recipe that uses butter, because that is all I have to. & all the boxes at store say oil. I looked all day sunday at different stores. no

I have the same problem most of the box mixes are all oil and I even tried looking on several different boxes over the past two days

You can get brownie mix that requires butter if you look hard enough. That is the type that you have to use, you cannot use the oil. Generally, it is 1oz of leaves or buds per 1/2 stick of regular butter. You can always add more pot of course but I wouldn't add more butter though.
