ive been studying for this electrician test thingy for a while now.

i havnt even been studying a certain type of math..just a buncha random forms of algebra and whatnot.

and i remember studying all of this already..i just never remembered any of it because i have no use for it right now.

i think my brains gonna pop.

its really not bad once you get into it, i guess.

my problem was i would always memorize methods and formulas and then utilize them, but only to mix a couple of them up in the middle of a problem. id use one method and then go and finish with a totally different one.

bahh.

I hate math. Stat is a bitch for me. I always use to get all the answers right in high school, but never understand how I got it right... It annoyed me...

Are you thinking of going into the engineering field?

my problem with math in high school was that i would get formulas mixed up in the middle of solving a problem.

right now im just kind of brushing up on everything for this stupid apprenticeship test that i have to take.

but its fun. i like to study. aside from all my college bio homework, this is nothing.

All I can say if you have to learn about circuits, vectors, and all this complicated shit I couldn't ever comprehend, you might as well get an electrical engineering degree.

I have no idea what I have to learn about yet..but im gonna be an apprentice and in the electricians union..so its good enough for me. im already three years into my biology degree. im not gonna change my major now!

Ya, I guess it's too late to change lol! With electrical engineering, you'll be learning how to make working machines and components. That's all my friend has been taking about for the past few days! Next semester, he has to build a working device involving circuitry. Sad thing is most electrical engineering graduates are utilized to make destructive devices!

im going to be an "inside wireman".

my brother and neighbor are partners in a construction company and they want to start a business in the next 5-10 years and want me to help with the electricity stuff. i dont know if this will happen, but i might do that on the side for some extra dough if it happens.

otherwise, ill be union until im a molecular biologist and working on cures for cancer and infectious disease.

Nice work with being an electrician. I wish I had learned a trade. You're going to make nice money and keep nice hours. That's the way to go. Keep it up.

man... i used to love math... now i just like it... cause now my love is only for Mary...
anyways, math is more than just using formulas... if you know the concept behind them, you dont need them... and when you can "see" with clarity, you become awed with the beauty and logic of the math... (or at least i became)
if you have some problem you couldnt solve, and wish some help, just ask... i will be very happy to help you.
