the life of a pothead

i was thinking just a minute ago about my life and what i do from day to day. its fairly simple to break down exactly what i do every day so i thought id share.

my life:

school - i hate school and go as little as possible to get by, when im not in school im usually skipping which consists of me walking around with my boyfriend in the freezing weather and trying to find ways to get warm

work - i love my job and i work part time, about 20 or so hours a week

home - i hate being home and the only times i am at home are usually after 10 at night (when i eat, watch movies/tv, read, listen to music, sleep, and masturbate) and before school/work

friends - when im not working or at school i am with my best friend (ashley) and my boyfriend (her brother, wilbur).. and while we are together we are usually either.. getting high, looking for money to buy weed to get high, looking for a way to get high, or.. making food because we have the munchies (insert some music, video games, and lots of making out (this part excludes ashley) and you have my life with them.


so basically each day im not at school or work i spend it looking for a buzz or enjoying a buzz. today will be one of those days i spend looking for a buzz since.. of course.. none of us have any money.. now that its cold though, this should be interesting (since we dont have a car we spend a lot of time walking to get high.. . ... the colder it gets, the more miserable it gets).


why i felt the need to share all of this? i have no idea. but if anyone was wondering what BOgart.Bitch does in her time away from the cannabis boards, now ya know.

My life is somewhat less exciting:

Wake up - cursing that I didn't die in my sleep.
Go downstairs - see if there's any food in the house - doh!, unlees the food fairies visited in the night, then another useless exercise...
Switch on PC - look on here for anything that I can add my indominatable wit to...sometimes yes, sometimes no.
Make a cup of tea...do this several times...
Phone to see if there is any work..usually not - so in a bad mood again.
Check the kitchen again for any food...nope, those pesky food fairies:mad:
Go back to bed, and hope I die in my sleep...

1 - wake up

2 - have a joint (if i have any weed)

3 - get ready for work, if i have work that day

4 - freeze and/or bore my ass off all day

5 - meet some friends in the pub for a pint or go straight home, depending on how frozen and/or bored i am

6 - have a joint if i have any weed

7 - practice on my bass for a while

8 - check these boards, spend a while posting, reading etc

9 - have a joint

10 - maybe watch a movie, listen to music, smoke some weed, phone a friend (usually a chick.. i hate speakin to guys on the phone), play the bass, write some stuff, or whatever i feel like doing

11 - get in to bed, read until i fall asleep

12 - repeat process

sometimes I only manage to get to number 5, and then end up staying out all night, going to clubs or whatever, getting drunk, and then having the repeat numbers 1 - 11 with a hangover

Many of the stoners I know lead a similar life. We are either all bored with school/work or hate it so much that we would much rather skip and get stoned. I must say that I am a lucky stoner, a few of my really close friends deal weed, but just to our group. It's great, they don't make a profit off us, they just smoke their profit weed with us. Add in a friend with a car and life gets pretty good.

However, exams suck ass. So I gotta get back to studyin... ugh.

There was this thing on TV last night about how christmas ruined people's lives. Let me give you a taster of how christmas ruined this pair of girls lives...
They got absolutely bladdered..I mean, stupenously drunk. They then when to a 24hr garage, and decided to photocopy their tits and arses. One of the girls (and I use the term 'girl' in the loosest possible way - quite literally lol), who happened to be the size of Mount Etna, sat on the photocopier and fell through the glass screen. Their antics (recorded on CCTV) made the national press!
The TV crew asked the girls mother how she felt about her daughter's conduct, to which she replied:
"Aye, I'm dead proud of 'er..."

That's the kind of people that I'm talking about.
There is a difference between someone who has the capacity to at least try to learn something that they don't understand - thats not a thick person, I have all the time in the world for people who want to learn. I myself am willing to learn, as much as I am willing to teach.

See, the point of the PLATEAU idea, is not to segregate classes, or indeed levels of intelligence, per se...it is about the gathering of people who have something that they can give back, you know.
Like, we that frequent this board, all have something to offer - even if it is something as simple as an understanding ear. Each of us has a quality that we can share and should be proud of - guitar playing, artistic prowess, the ability to make someone laugh when they're feeling down...these are the people that I want to come to the PLATEAU; a place where prejudice and fear, can be left at the door.

What has the aforementioned girl got to offer the world?
A contributary factor of the ever increasing strain upon the economy and trash TV 'documentaries'!!

They say that stoners are a worthless bunch of low-lifes, that spend their time saying 'hey man', or summat.
I would quite happily invite those people to peruse the various topics under discussion on this board, and defy any one of them to question the intelligence and compassion exhibited by the overwhelming majority of its members. Even the 'silly' threads show creativty and imagination.
They would see that, even when there is a disagreement (ie, the 'If God exists..." thread), we at least have the mental capacity to listen to each side of the arguement objectively, and shit! more often than not, we learn something that we didn't know - a thing that most people in positions of power could do well to learn!
