First a little background. I'm 20 living at home getting 'core credits' out of the way at a local College planning to transfer to MTU next fall.
OK, so today I wake up and go to put my boots on (I wear work boots usually because of my summer job, and then its just better in the winter than sneakers), and they are gone. Appearently my mom got rid of them because I tracked mud throughout the entire house. Except I knew they were muddy so I took 'em off at the door.
So she tossed my $100 work boots just like that. I think she was extremely out of line, and I'm absolutely fuming right now (luckily I'm past the stage of blowing up at my folks, hahaha), and I'm not sure how exactly I can fix this, but those were my favorite boots goddamnit and I will get them, or a replacement pair. This is total bullshit.
Anybody lookin fer a roomate? ha...

Dude, she's a crazy fucking bitch... I mean yeah, me and my bro give her a hard time, but its because you cannot interact with her without becoming enraged. I do not wonder why she has ZERO freinds.
I mean, I actually need my boots, as all my other shoes are pretty toasted except my sandels, and its cold as hell here... SO yeah, if I don't get these back soon, I am gonna have to cough up money for this shit. Thats just not cool. Man, I dunno if I'm gonna make it until the fall....
dude. What! Talk to your mom about this. I would be Like Hey Ma! Where in the hell did you put my boots for work. Thats only damn pair of shoes I have.

I tried, man... You don't know my mom. I'm not saying she's a bad mom or anything but she is one crazy bitch. Once she gets an idea in her head, there is no stopping her.
If she didn't throw them out, I think they are in her car, so I gotta check but otherwise I'm just gonna have to short her the cost of a new pair of boots when I pay her back for this semmester of school (had my dad charge it online cuz it was easier, I got the cash in the bank... I'm not some freeloading yuppy bitch! :D )

Hello,
Buck 268 - Stay strong man. Don't let her negativity bring you down. I hope that it all works out for you.
Just keep reminding yourself that your schooling will pay off, and that one day you will be the one who has to help her out, karma goes a long way.
Happy Holidays
Peace

Eitherway, she aint the brightest... Both my $100 workboots and $150 hunting boots (you explain that one!) were in her trunk. Ha!

I can only think of one reason why she would do something like that.
How old are they?

My workboots are about a year old... Hunting boots are far older, but they see extremely infrequent use, they are in damn near new condition. :D

Hey Buck i hear ya. My mom didnt throw them out but they justy got completely wrecked in one season. I should have put my rorthapedic inserts in. Now my boots are shitty :(. Good work boots being a landscaper, nothign better.
I'm probably not going to preplace them nextyear... Don't feel liek forking money out for them again. Just put new inserts in and hope thier not retarded.
