you just need general pipe/bong making inginuity... it isn't about size, it's the holes in a peice.... for instance, say you have a pipe and both the bowl hole and the mouth peice hole are the exact same. now shrink that hole in the bottom of the bowl, you'll get less smoke-air ratio... however, if you were to of shrunk the mouthpeice hole (thus meaning a larger hole in the bowl then mouthpeice) you'd get higher smoke-air ratio....

i had a RX bottle bong, and even tho it was small, it could still contend with the bigboys... wouldn't choke you like a huge bong, but it could still hang with them
