Yesterday I got charged with possession of Drug Paraphernalia...

It all started about halfway through my school day. A friend and I were sitting there in class talking about how much bullshit it is that they 'randomly' drug test students at our school. They test kids at my school once a week everyweek and its without warning so your pretty fucked if they get you. Anyhow, yesterday happened to be the day that they were drug testing kids and in comes a school security officer with a pile full of papers that all have the students names to be tested that day. So i look up and i'm like 'well i guess they got me'. Sure enough, the guy calls my name and i walk out with him to the hall.

So we start walking and i ask him 'whats this about?'. He tells me that were going out to my car to 'have a look'. I actually begin to feel releaved that i won't be tested and instead i'll just have to deal with some fucking suspiscous security gaurds because i have illegal window tint on my car. So me and the gaurd and the school principle all get in a golf cart and drive out to the parking lot to my car. Thats when i knew i was fucked. Two police cars and two cops with a drug dog were standing next to my truck waiting for us as we pulled up. The cop tells me that he is doing 'random' walk-throughs through the parking lot with his dog and my car came up positive.

I really don't have any choice other than to refuse and be arrested so i hand over my keys and they start searching. First they pull out my hooka, which i had never smoked weed out of, only sheesha. It even had sheesha resin all over the bowl and the pig still told me 'oh i bet you guys mix weed and tobacco in there dont you.' So i tell him i've never smoked weed in it and theres nothing illegal about it. They continue searching and they find my grinder, which has a small weed leaf in it. Luckily that was all that was in it or else i would have gotten charged with possession. They finish searching and write me a ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia and confiscate my hooka and grinder. So then i ask the cop, "what does a hooka have to do with weed residue on a grinder?" he tells me, "i dont have to answer that at this time." Fucking bullshit i hate cops. I know he had the right to take my grinder and give me a ticket but at least give me an explanation of why ur taking my hooka.

Anyway, i got a court date in about a month and i'll prob just go and plead guilty, maybe try to get my hooka back. Anyone else over 18 been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in Texas and what was your punishment?

Thats bullshit dude. They suspended my license for 6 months for having a bag with ONLY traces of THC. No hard evidence, in court when they read out what I had on me they told me that they only found residue, the punk motherfucker couldnt even give an amount but yet they could still give me shit. Coulda been cuz I was only 16 at the time but its still bullshit. Then the other day some kids at school were shooting at shit out the car window with a BB gun and the cops let 'em go. Justice in America is fucked, we gotta take the power back.

that sucks a lot. you are 18 though so it is a lot better then if you were underaged.

oh and what kind of school do you go to where there are golf carts?

If I bring anything cannabis related to school, I keep it on me. I don't think they dog test cars, but they do search lockers during lockdowns.

my school is really big, so all the principles have golf carts that they drive around in and shit. and the security gaurds use them in the parking lot and down the halls, but its just a normal public high school

Yeah, Marevix just gave the best advice if you're going to risk it and bring weed and/or paraphernalia to school. They sometimes test cars, and run the dogs around the lockers, but during these searching lockdowns, they don't go into the class room and have the dogs sniff you, so that's your best way to avoid being busted by a random search.

Also, an advantage of keeping it on you, is you can get rid of it if you need to get rid of it fast. For instance, eating it, throwing it away, or hiding it are all options that you can complete in a very short time frame if you need to.

Was your vehicle on school property?

If not, you shouldn't have handed over your keys so easily. The laws may not be the same in Texas, but in Virginia, they can't search a parked car without a warrant, or give your consent in writing.

Next time you have shit in your car, park away from school so they can't fuck you over. You gotta be more careful, school are becoming real nazi these days. Was it really necessary to carry a hooka on you, even tho you didn't smoke weed out of it? Most police officers are dumber than hollow wood, they just enforce the law and could give a fuck less about compassion or the truth.

Now if what you say is true, get a lawyer. The evidence has to be processed, part of it is using a lab to determine if it's infact weed residue. This is your ticket out. Fuck pleading guilty.

Wow, it really sucks to live in America. That would never ever happen in England. My mate an I got caught smoking in my car round the back of a rental store, all they did was take the weed and the grinder (the was about 1/16th weed). They even let me drive away stoned.

i live in gloucester va. And at my school they fuckin search the Student parkin lot durin lockdowns. I just keep my shit on me because the dogs never come near the classes.

anytime i have shit on me i put it on my waist and tighten my belt, i get searched every other day (the principals a dick) and they never find it on me. and if its more then can fit on your waist you shouldnt have it at school at all. i keep a bagger with no more then 10 grams and my metal piece on me, thats it.

ive been busted for weed wrongfully too man, i feel your pain. i was unlawfully searched, and they found my weed a long time ago, since then ive kept it on my waist at all times.
