Today I started 6 Lowryder Classic seeds germinating via the paper towel method. Lowryders take around 8 weeks to go from seed to harvest. I will be using some organic ferts and mixes.
My soiless mix
60% ProMix
30% perlite
10% Super Tea Mix (as directed), Dolomite Lime (as directed)
Super Tea Mix is Peruvian Seabird Guano, Worm Castings, and Bat guano; 55-1.
Budswel is the same thing but 0-7-0, and I will be using that for flowering.
Other things in my lineup are Liquid Karma, Superthrive, PureBlend Pro Grow, AN Overdrive, Big Bud, and Micro. I will try to stay away from the liquid ferts but if my plant is telling me it needs something, it will get it.
Germination week one- Seeds will pop then once the taproot emerges, they will go in Jiffy cubes in a humidity dome with CFLs overhead (4 42w warm, 2 30w cool).
Vegetative week 1- Transferring the Jiffy cubes into small containers once all the seedlings have got nice stems with dicot leaves sticking out and absorbing light well, then I will take out the humidity dome.
Vegetative week 2/3- Keep plants under CFLs until they are ready to go outside. I will put the cubes and some soil in a 6 container gardening store container thing until they grow up a bit bigger. They will be fed water only, but there is some Super Tea Mix mixed into the soil. They will show sex around this time and I will discard males if I have enough pollen/seeds still.
Flowering week 1- Transfer females (maybe a male) into bigger pots and given water mixed with some Budswel. I will put them outside in their hidden spot for the rest of the grow.
Flowering week 2/3/4- Plants are being watered with Budswel/whatever else they need (a little BigBud)
Flowering week 5/6- Flush with plain water. I am going to harvest some a bit early, at prime, and a little later for the different kinds of highs.
So that is my plan for these 6 seeds that are germinating right now.
