watch out for flys the most,,every time they land ,,they shit,,they freeze at 55 or lower and come back after unfreezing,,bugs get indiganess by getting cought in air drafts and going into diganess,,(cant spell for crap),,a plane lands in ontario,,flys to moscow,,we now have new bugs in moscow,,they get cought up in there compartments and freeze at heights during flight,,defrost in moscow giving new bugs to moscow,,

some hibernate, some die and some stay in their larval state..some butterflies migrate..http://www.si.edu/resource/faq/nmnh/buginfo/winter.htm

i like flies...last time one got in my house last month i was high as fuck. i named him/her Buggy and set tiny meals aside for it. i taught it to fly to me on command and trained it not to be afraid to be petted :) (aw i wouldnt hurt a fly)...i think Buggy died of old age :(

[email protected] A YEAR!!! FFS, I thought I was picking dried up spittle from my mouth in the morning!!

*blows chunks*

There was a spider in my house...I called him Spider......I found him, one day, and he was dead...lack of flies, I guess...I kill flies on sight, sorry Euph.
I kill wasps on sight too, cos they hover behind my head......
Luckily, their Kung Fu is weak, and I strike them with "Tiger Slaps Wasp Technique" :D
Then I laugh at them, as they lay on the floor, squirming in pain...then I say "The path of the righteous man, is beset upon all sides by the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who shepards the weak throught the vally of the strong...."..then I stamp on them...very hard!!

CUTE
I have some Daddy long legged friends in my basement at my house. Did you know they are a venemous spider but way to small for it to effect a human!

Thanks for all that information, it was all very... informative. Euphoric, great site! And I thought I was the ONLY one to ever ask the question.

As far as my bug preference, I'm going to have to say that spiders scare the shit out of me. I'm a big outdoorsman, and I can handle most of the nasty, icky things that you run in to. But spiders bite me a lot, I have had several big and painful spider bites.

I dont think there is any consistency with who eats how many bugs in their sleep. I sleep face down, usually with my face stuffed in my pillow. I dont think spiders can really make it in there to my mouth, perhaps that is why they bite me instead. I have a friend who always sleeps on his back with his mouth hanging open, I'm sure his diet is high in protein and fibers.

Here's a funny story regarding eating bugs.

I was taking a biology class back in highschool, and one day we had to take all kinds of samples of things to view under a high-powered microscope. A girl in my group agreed to scrape the inside of her cheek, because the teacher told us that the skin in your mouth is very interesting. What we found under the microscope, was a fully intact insect leg. You could see the different parts of the leg all the way down to the little foot. The girl freaked out, and we asked her what she's eaten.. we just got back from lunch, and all she ate was french fries from the cafeteria.

Yum.

daddylonglegs are technically not spiders, they only have 2 body sections instead of 3 like arachnids

but I think most bugs just die when winter hits...the eggs hatch in springtime maybe? or they hibernate, that would do it

when I find an insect in my home I give it the old "WOH-PAH!" ninja strike technique. apparently my ninja skills are interesting to watch, because I actually do battle with the insect in question...they fly around my head as I do strange yelling and manouvres with my hands, chopping desperately at the air around me in hopes to destroy the winged invaders!

my step daughter told me they studied in school we eat spiders in our sleep,,if you take a microscope and look at bed and pillows,,you would never sleep again,,back, side, down,so much skin mites and what nots we dont even see,,just if you scratch your skin,,look at all the flakes ,,there are bugs in that, with that said,,sleep tight,,,
