Area 51, Roswell New Mexico, UFO/Aliens Goverment cover-ups...

Do you think there is really intelligent life somewhere out there besides are own? If so has beings already made contact with mindkind?

I was watching a show about Area 51 and a former officer at area 51 on his death bed finally comes forward after a military vow of Silence. Admitting to his son, That we're infact not alone on this earth and decribing the UFO's and Alien life forms dead and alive.

I thought it was pretty neat. So what do you think? We alone?

i think it's kind of presumptious to think our planet is the only that has life, and even more so, that we're the only kind of 'inteligent' life out there...

i dunno if i believe they've came to our planet or not.... that's what i still wonder about. maybe there's a whole nother world out there... almost exactly like ours, just with diffrent shaped land masses/people/customs/languages/food ect ect... and maybe like us, they can't fathom going far past their own world either...

the universe is pretty damn huge... hundreds or thousands of other galaxies or something like that i think... logic would dictate there is bound to be other life out there.

hmmmm how do you know the government just doesn't wanna tell you what their doing in area-51. also if they made it here their already more intelligent then us as we haven't made it to them yet. though there could be life elsewhere who knows maybe they got better bud then us. hope they bring some when they come.

see i don't necessarily believe that. i think its possible that the aliens could be peaceful by nature, and thus not have any real weapons.

Good point, Maybe they're just trying to explore the un-known like we earth people have been trying to do. Just trying to make some sense out of there existence, Like human's have since the beginning of existence.

It'd be cool to load up a bowl with other forms of life.

Well, as of yet there is no real proof, but, the universe is infinate, which means there HAS to be life out there somewhere, probably just too far away for us - or maybe its here now, walking the streets with us. Who knows.

I dunno, I think its possible and likely. Though I cant imagine that any intelligent life looks like us or wants anything to do with us. But come on, the universe is HUGE! It would be kind of arrogant to think that we are the only things alive in the whole thing! Maybe not in our milky way but somehwere.

i hope were not the only planet with life; seeing as how we allready irreversibly fucked up the atmosphere & ozone layer.
If there was other life i would hope it would just be a planet full of animals that know nothing besides there instincts, Eat Reproduce & Sleep maybe fend for their young but w/e. Ide rather it be a peacefull planet with its own ecosystem rather than another one smothered in buildings and poloution.

my theory: the universe is incomprehensibly huge. we (earth) are just a grain of sand on the beach that is the universe. our galaxy is among billions of others. the chances that there are other conditions suitable for life beyond our own are incredibly likely think about this: our sun is our only star in our solar system. the stars we see at night are in our own galaxy. among the billions of other galaxies exist billions of other stars like our sun. what are tha chances that one of those trillions of trillion of trillions of stars has an orbiting planet like our own?

Apparently the chances of the different amino acids forming to create life is extremely unlikely (scientists have been trying to mimic it and yet to discover all the amino acids out there etc etc.) let alone life as advanced as ours (intellectually..) forming in such a short space of time. It could really depend on how big the universe is if that's really a question.

the Dogon people of the nation of Mali in Africa have a creation story that follows as such. meramid-like E.Ts came from the sirius star system and inter-breeded with human beings bringing about the dawn of civilization. another thing they brought was cannabis. these people have a yearlong celebration that lasts a year and makes the cannabis cup look lame. the festival coincides with the completion of the orbit of sirius B around sirius A. this was something that the dogon people had in their own lore for thousands of years but was not confirmed by astronomers until 1970. they also knew of a sirius C, which was "discovered" by french astronomers in 1995. i tend to believe the rest of their story about weed coming from the sirius system, since everything they claimed about it that can be proved is true. look it up on the net.

Yeah I bet you there is SOME kind of life out there. Maybe not like us, maybe just plants, bacteria stuff like that who knows. We cant travel fast enough to figure this out anytime soon, and maybe the 'other' life forms cant either.

Well it would be damn stupid of us to think that in the entire universe, only Earth has life.
But does it nessecarily mean that Roswell, Area 51, and every other UFO/Alien/Cover-up conspricay thing we've heard of is true?
Probably not.
I think some UFO's are just that. Unidentified flying objects. They're more likely military things than alien spacecrafts.
