I was driving down to Tucson yesterday and noticed the side of the roads are covered with purple, yellow and red flowers! We were told this year's spring flower show wouldn't be as good as usual due to lack of winter rains but seeing all of the roadside flowers gives me hope there'll still be a decent show...I am only sorry I didn't have my camera with me but will try to remember it when I go out the next time...hopefully soon before the flowers are gone!

I've been putting out the vegetable scraps in the garden all winter. The dirt has thawed, so I turned it over with a pitchfork and brought the first crawlers in for the aquarium fish. : )
Then I dug a hole for future compost (it filled with water). Here will grow next season's giant pumpkins!

Hi Stinky and friends! Spring is GREAT
Here are some crocus in the back yard under the trees. The daffodils are still hidden. I'm going into the front yard now to take some pics there-

Okay, here's the front yard- can you identify all the plants? My bulbs are a bit tweaked from a frost that came after a warm spell. You can just see the new leaves of some perennials.
Here is a pic of one of my rhododendrons- see the sick part? Does anyone know what happened to it? Should I prune that off? The rhody in the front of my house has a much worse case of whatever this is, so I am hoping I don't have to cut back all of that!

I just went to check my tulips and they are like 4" already and we have snow on the ground still. Every year my tulips bloom about 1.5 weeks before everyone elses on the block, so for 1.5 weeks out of the year we have the nices yard in the neighborhood. So all the kids from the school nearby knock on my door and ask for one and I still have enough left to give to friends. Then everyone elses tulips pop and we're back to the place with the dogs.

Mark I couldn't possibly find it in my heart to kill a perfectly healthy Cannabis plant. I'd have to kill them the minute I found out what they were lol. It's a shame you gotta cut em down :(.
Btw you sure did throw down a fuck load of seeds lol. I would have saved em.

nah...we were trying to think when they may have been thrown down..some sort of bagseed..With these, there's probably at least like 50 I would say..can't let them grow in the yard, so I won't have a big problem mowing over them..
An illegal natural occurance...how ridiculous.
