View Full Version : WILL THE RAIN WASH THE RESIN OFF MY BUDS?

MY OUTDOOR PLANTS ARE SO NEARLY READY BIG STICKY BUDS .i was going to pick this weekend but today it rained very heavy,the smellseems not as strong now after the rain. has the rain washed the resin off my plants? will it get that stickiness back now? any comments wld be a great help

dont worry about it im sure your plants are fine and will be plenty sticky when you harvest its not like you can do much about rain anyway, they will probably be looking normal after the sun drys them out.

the trichomes are waterproof-ish, not that they can't be dissolved however.

If those plants are almost ready and they got hit with a lot of rain keep a close eye on them. they could get mildew or rot out. As far as the tricomes wind rain and being rough with the plants ie. running your hands over them. All remove some of the tricome heads but there should be plenty left to get you nicly baked! Enjoy

yeah it wont wash anything off but if it dries too quick u mite get rot, look for it and remove any roting buds asap.
the only preventing method I know is to cover the plant with big bin bag when it rains

build a tent over it, give your little buddies an umbrella
