I just got the go-ahead to go back to the gym and do weights again. For nearly two months, I've only been allowed to do mild walking and no weight-training, and it's been driving me nuts. My heart valve infection shows every evidence of being cleared up, so I'm going to kick butt again. I typically do 35 - 40 minutes of cardio (in circuits, not just on one machine) and 25 - 30 minutes of strength training, concentrating on different muscle groups each time, four to five times a week. I try and catch a very early Saturday morning yoga class, generally, and stretch a lot even on the other days. Wish I had time for some type of dance class, but I don't right now. I'm a little obsessive about exercise. It's the best way I know of to manage depression, anxiety and stress.

Damn, tea bo's pretty intense shit. I dunno, my gym teacher makes us do a pretty rigorous workout, which I hate while I'm doing it but I love that I'll stay in better shape.

I've been skateboarding for close to 8 years, but lately work has gotten me to where I can't skate as much as I want to so I've been goin to the gym with my roommate for about 45 minutes a day 3 times a week so I can "try" to stay in shape lol.
lacrosse practice every weekday for 2 hours, its good exersise but im usually so drained of energy by the end (coaches make us run so many sprints) that i cannot move afterwords...
A mate of mine does kick boxing, mind you, i aint seen him for 2 years. Last time i went to his place we was pissing about and he kicked me in the face across his lounge - bloody powerful kick, and i wasnt expecting it.
Kickboxing is great fun though.
I dont really exercise, the only exercise i get is walking to the bog when i need a piss, or using the cluch pedal on me van.

Weight-training rocks! This semester I only manage twice a week, but soon will be able to do it three times per week, yea! Once it gets warmer, I do tons of gardening that keeps me strong. I have to do more cardio though- I used to run and loved that, but I think walking is better on my aging joints. I have a treadmill, but I get bored doing that. I wish I could get mr demeter to walk outsidewith me, but after sculpting ice all day, he wants to hunker down on the couch:stoned: Can't say I blame him!
I used to be in fantastic shape, now I am just average. I need to get motivated and reading this thread has inspired me. If delicate ms birdgirl can do all that she does, I can get off my butt too!

Monday- biceps, quad, chest
Tuesday- tricep, calves, abs,
thursday- shoulder, gastronemius, gluts, abs
Almost everyday surf for 2 -3 hours, skate long distances (transportation), and I like to jog a couple laps before my workouts. This combined with a perfect eating schedule has led to my desired results. I swear the pot helps to!

I bike 15-20km a day (depends of weather), eat right, and I'm on my feet for another 4 hours at "work" (if you want to call it that).
I really should do some ab/chest training to reduce my man boob size. I've lost the gut weight over the last 2 years, so I really should be tightening up those areas.
I'm happy biking. I never cared much for lifting weights and doing situps and shit.

My diet is completely horrible and I don't eat as much as I should, but I don't wanna drink protein shakes and all those things 'cause I gain weight easily (very slow metabolism..thanks dad!)..what would you reccommend? I don't eat meat or carbs. I wanna get back into healthy eating though.

I used to be a health freak, and when I was, I was lowish carb, highish protein. I also favor weights over cardio. And yoga-ish type stuff is high on my list.
My best gf's mom wants me to teach stripcardio. That I can do. Gimme a pole and I can change the world. Or at least the world's thighs.

I live on a small 1mile by 9mile island, and I'm about halfway (on the 9mile axis) and I usually run to the south end 2 or 3 times a week..
That's basically all the exercise I get besides a few pushups and sit ups each night.
