Yeah dude I don't get it either. My first impression, I don't like it. But we'll see, the mods and other guys in charge seem to know what they're doing. Why is my rep a single black bar? and if you roll over it, it does nothing.

This is the new thread/post rating feature, you will notice threads and posts have a up/down arrow , whereas you may vote on them.
Futhermore, you can use the drop down menu option to filter the threads and posts that you wish that meet a certain point level.

Have a go with the system and play around with it

Thanks sundance. I am actually playing around with this feature as we speak. It's actually pretty cool and reminds me of a site I use to visit as much as this one (digg).

defenite eye sore, but so were those air bag warnings on the bottom of visors in vehicles, but now i dont even notice them. im interested to see were this goes.

your rep is a single black bar because you have your reputation disabled for your account... you can change it in the user CP

So does this replace the STAR rating...? Or is it an additional rating? So there are two ratings for a thread? I ask because I just took a quick look and saw a thread with a NEW rating of 2, but it had 5 stars...?

pretty annoying to me. i dont really care what a thread is rated if it has a lot of replies and has stayed up for more than a few days ill kind of get the point myself. i guess who's ever in charge of that sort of thing has never heard the phrase if it aint broke dont fix it:cool:
