You shouldn't see gritweed - not in the U.S

but no eating it would not be safe as for a start it damages your teeth ;)

god, these kinds of problems have been rampant in hard drugs for a long time, why the hell does it have to cross into MJ too? All the more reason to grow your own weed. Can't trust anyone anymore.

If you need to do something with it then make BHO - the glass gets filtered out if you use even a basic coffee filter.

Just don't blow yourself up with the Butane as that's somewhat of a health risk too ;)

And yet it was asked... remember the cooking with mouldy bud thread? lol also equally priceless. mmmmm I love ingesting unknown microorganisms, glass, kitty litter, silica, and other substances... and yet I STILL pick the brown lettuce out of my salad at restaurants... and I wash my hands after using the loo... there's something seriously wrong with me! :D
