all of my ap classes were in the morning and I couldnt skip those, so I would just walk out during lunch time. None of the security guards cared because they all knew me and liked me.

Haha so many ways. One, go run in the sprinklers, roll in the water, do whatever it takes to get soaked and then walk into the office with a friend. "I slipped and fell, I grabbed his shoulder on accident and he fell and hit his head"...can we go home to change? PEACE OUT!
Or you can wait after school and beat the shit out of a punk away from the school, send him to the hospital on a stretcher in an ambulence and get expelled for a year on the 3rd day of school >_>.
And you can also just not go and drop out (don't do it man!!)

I would ask my teachers if i could go to the gym and talk to "coach"...
I didnt even play any sports...
So then we'd all meet up on the football field and tan during 5th period..

donut bribes, I am not joking, the guy in charge of making sure we don't drive off, you just give him donuts or some other food as long as it's not school food and he lets you go

lol, H4H, thats exactly what I did. LeAvE. Every time I go home and see the fences and checkpoint where the guard stays it makes me kinda sad for the younguns today. I parked on the street so I could get out real easily and I learned to sign my moms name perfectly by 9th grade.
I had a hell of a time, but I'd skipped over 70 days my sr yr & had to bust my ass the last few weeks of school to graduate, so be prepared and know what you're gettin into. Don't let skipping make you not graduate, you want all the options you can possibly have whether you think you will use any of them or not. But everybody deserves a day here and there to hang out and enjoy their friends, feel like they're being naughty, make some memories.

i went to the doctors office one time when i was 16. There I saw a fresh of box of form doctors notes (the ones for excuse and exception ) and i put it in my backpack. the forms had a spot to take an imprint of ya insurance card and had a list of shit you couldnt do or if ya need to be excused from work, school, court or what ever. I would place my bank card under rub it with a pen and have someone else fill it out form me filling it out with the doctors phone number to a prepaid cell phone. It worked every time and school only called once and i told them that "the patient had been excused for a medical condition and that for privacy reasons it could not be discussed."
now being an adult i wouldnt recommend impersoniation/identy theft, theft, perjury/fraud but fuck it i was just a kid

You could be like me and have the school sign a incorrigible complaint on you and then you can never go back...

walk out with all the work study kids (who leave school mid-day to go to work) or just walk out the side door (kind of suspicious).

Yup used to just leave whenever I wanted to. Things are alot different now a days. The schools here (California) get money for every child in attendance for that day, if one is absent, they better have a good excuse or they come looking for ya. We didn't have any yard guards (security). Oh, and by the way Skink, kudos to you becomming a mod!!!! Right on!!  :stoned:

I always just booked too... I am suprised to hear about this Gestapo type system that is in place... Do you think it is actually money driven???

she doesn't like letting us skip tho.. so i'm probably gonna have to figure out another method.

You know I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I know that the schools get a certian (sp??? very tired) amount of money for the children in attendance and if they are not there (without a proper excuse) the school gets no money for that child. My daughter has been out of school for a few years so I haven't kept up with all the new school policies. This is just what I've heard on the news and read in the paper. Might not even apply to all of California, but I know it's in effect here and LA for sure.

My daughter's in elementary school and it's money driven at that age, too. I think the school gets $70 for every day that she is there, so they sure let you know about it when you miss more than what they deem appropriate..

thats crazy, i dont have any kids so im not to up and up one the whole school thing anymore, but from what i hear, its getting wayyyy out of hand in those places.
but yeah for all you kids still in school, all you have to do , is just act like you know what you're doing ,and what you're doing is just what you're supposed to be doing, confidence is key with skipping school.

I would go to school with a 24 and just stand outside and get drunk. You don't need an excuse, just dont go. I was eventually expelled, but it hasnt worked out badly. I'm majoring in biochem and planning to become a doctor.

Hah, man my highschool was so easy to leave! When I was in school all I had to do was walk out to the parking lot, get in my car, and leave. When I was younger and I skipped school, I would just not go.

Yeah I know that schools are definately paid for kids attendance in LA and Long Beach, which makes it way hard for me to ditch.
If i do I usually end up hopping the one hoppable fence at my school which is about 15 feet high, has a little 3 foot section without barbed wire, wobbly and nice and rusty so my hands smell like shit when im done.
Such a burn trying to climb that beast when im baked

God damn, I know it's a bit odd that I never knew this considering how prevelant it seems, but I had no idea American schools actually had guards to keep you in... I mean kids around my area would consider that some harsh nazi bullshit, there's no way we'd put up with that. Besides, there's always that occasional day you just have to skip, whether it be avoiding some group of bullies, or just feeling too shitty that day to really learn anything. Yes I know there's no way to implement such exceptions into a consistant school policy, but that's simply why you don't have freakin' guards actually out to stop somebody from *gasp* making an independant choice about how they run their own lives. lol, sorry but it's just surprising me more and more how many harsh social restrictions exist in the states (drug policy is crazy enough after all).

ya mr devious i was thinking the same thing
whats with the guards and shit in the american schools? thats weird.. here my buddy in highschool got caught selling weed outta his basement.. makin a killin... and he was suspended for 3 days??? all there ever was was this constable cop guy who showed up a few times a week for no reason at all. seems really weird with the drug policys and schools being guarded by security

wow really you guys don't have any gaurds or anything to keep you guys in?
My school has an assload of security and two police officers that work there EVERYDAY. They seriously just patrol the school or hang out at entrances all day everyday.

our school doesnt really care all that much, we have an open campus lunch so you can leave then, and if u leave anyother time, theres one guy that sometimes checks, but thats it.
only
if u have any unexcused absenses u get detention.....so ya, but its still worth it cause detention is shorter then class

I might be slow witted here, but I don't get this. How does eating cereal, milk and OJ get you out of school. :wtf:
I used to ask to go to the washroom to get out of class. I wouldn't even have to go, but I'd sure take my sweet ass time.
Kids used to start fires a lot in the washroom when I was in HS, so 75% of that year, we were outside rather than inside. To get out of class and not go in HS though, I just wouldn't go. They had a 3 strike rule. If you don't show up for 3 days in a row, they would call home to your folks. To avoid getting caught, I'd skip one or two days, then go the third day, then start all over again. :p I never went to classes, ever, for many reasons though that I'd rather not get into.
In junior high though, I just used the washroom bit. They were Nazi's at that school. If you were 20 minutes late for school that day, or getting back from lunch, they would call home and my mom would always find out. I rarely skipped class in junior high. I spent most of the time drawing and writing.

I know this sounds nuts , here in Ontario Canada you can just walk out of the school and nobody is going to ask you any questions. Then again we can smoke on the sidewalk infront of the school with teachers walking by so I guess my schools a little lax.
Security guards....wtf?

Milk and OJ sound like a perfect concoction for some nice and nasty vomit. I used to go with creamed corn, but throwing up to miss school is to much trouble now.
i go to a community college now. if i dont wanna go, i just dont leave my house. or on days where i have multiple classes, i just leave. i didnt skip all that much in high school. maybe walked out during lunch and would go home or just never went to school.

Well that's going a bit too far if you ask me. Making yourself vomit to avoid school? :wtf: School isn't/wasn't that bad.

i just walked out lol and if i wanted to get back in later in the day for a class i needed to go to i would just prop open the back door way in back of school behind the gym with a pen or call a friend to open it for me.

If i feel too sick then i'll just call in and leave a message on the abscence hotline. Then, proceed to blaze all day and play online video games. Love it when I do it but i don't do it that often, so that's prob why. I usually go every day to get my EMA (education maintenance allowence) 30 sterling a week if i go to all my classes and get a piece of paper signed. I don't have the pound sign on my keyboard.
