Hehehe, well think about animals man...We hang them on hooks and slice them open to drain all of their blood. Oh and we make sure they stay alive as long as possible during the process too!

Ohh, man...how can you say that? "That's Agh!...That's Agh!"

(p.s...that is from Fear & Loathing)

If you are worried about them feeling pain...just think of how many times you've cut yourself or burned your finger on the lighter...or your lip on the lighter...or burned half of your face off almost trying to light a roach...

...that is their sweet revenge. :weedpoke:

No they don't. My Sister-in-law is a lab tech at a maple leaf hog plant. The hogs and electrocuted across the head. They are out before they can feel a thing. Then a giant needle plunges into their heart sucking all the blood out at once, killing them and removing the blood at the same time. There is no pain and the utmost care is taken not to scare the animals before 0 time, both because it's humane and because stress can cause rapid horomone release which make the meat taste worse.

Don't listen to PETA lies. Farming practices could be nicer to these animals, but the slaughter portion is about as humane as possible.

Hmm.. If they could feel pain, who would stop smoking? I'd have to seriously consider it.. :|

Hehehe what goes around comes around! One way or another! :D

And cfvgcfvg, hehe man I was being completely sarcastic, just pointing out old ways of doing things. I know we are more evolved nowadays...but we still treated animals like shit for many many centuries!

Thanks for the info though :)

"but we still treated animals like shit for many many centuries!"

Actually we still do, probably now more than ever. The killing portion is more humane, but the way they are treated the rest of their lives is often appalling.

Chickens are cooped up in, well, coops that are so small they fight with each other causing serious damage with their beaks, so industrial farms use heated blades and cut off the beaks to prevent this. Cows are given terrible horomones to make them give more milk (only where officials are stupid enough to allow this, USA) that cause horrible side effects. Pigs are put in stalls not much bigger than themselves, and basically can't move their entire lives.

I feel a little less guilty by buying meat directly from farmers that free range their non-GM, horomone free animals.

Somehow I think it would sound more like the dude from the original version of The Fly. "Help me! Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" LOL

Sick people does that to other people too. But yeah the plants must hate us. We constantly grow them up show them love and then we chop them down and set them on fire :(.

if plants could feel pain, then hell would be us getting "broken up" by a giant bud and then rolled up in a giant dutch and smoked.

I give up.. i was trying to find a scene from Scary Movie 2 when Marlon got smoked by his own tree..
That's what would happen, if plants could feel pain, they would roll us into a joint with a bed sheet while we are asleep and smoke us.

If plants could really feel pain they would never feel the burn of getting fired up. The pain would come into play when they are harvested. Chopped and allowed to die slowly as they dry out and cure. After that the buds are just like amputated limbs. The stump feels the pain, but the limb is severed and completely dead. Smoking bud is like smoking little bits of mummified cannabis.

Think of it like cremation, except somebody is inhaling your soul during the process. Cannabis plants must have the kindest souls on the planet.:bong:
