Hi this is my first pic post, The ploblem is the main fan leafs are yellowing inward, most if the main fan leafs are gone in these pics, new growth seems healthy but even now the older small branch leafs are yellowing from the tips in. This plant was recovered from my first try at hydro that went wrong, Their in soil a few weeks now they were on the 12/12 for 2 weeks, so I could sex them and keep the females, now they have been on 20/4 for 3 weeks they are starting to grow as normal again but the leafs are still slowly yellowing . Can anybody help me. Is there a cure for the poblem. :wtf: :(

Thats high qualty soil m8 the stuff thats grows palnts without the need for ppm meters or ph pens, all you need is a light, soil and seed, and away you go couldnt be more easy . Im looking for some help.

Well, obviously your dirt isn't doing it all for you. It appears to me to be overwatered and the soil is too rich to allow for proper drainage. If it were mine I'd get myself a bottle of SuperThrive and transplant into the next size bigger pot using same soil but with a lot of perlite added to allow water to drain. It also appears you have been feeding it quite a bit so I'd cut back on that to none until the new growth shows improvement and no water after the transplant into fresh soil w/perlite until the soil has dried out (be generous with the SuperThrive mix immediately after the transplant but allow it to dry afterwards). Those damaged leaves will not recover and will eventually finish yellowing and fall off so don't worry about it when it happens. Just cut back on the loving and follow "The Book" and you should be fine.

And I should put this in my sig sometime...Check Your PH! Not just you but everyone who's serious about growing.

Yes but I bet unless you make changes soon they're going to look just like the older ones.

The seeds in the same soil are perfectthose are far from perfect.
I asked about the dirt because it's the first thing to check. I thought your "i'm looking for some help" retort was a little snotty considering that's exactly what I was trying to give you- those seedlings are already yellowing- it could be from shit pH, overnuting, or overwatering... and a combination of acid soil and too much water is DEADLY to pot plants... if you want help, this is it:
-You need to test your soil and adjust it to pH6.8.
- You cannot plant seedlings in preferted soil or they will look like yours do.
- You MUST add a soil lightener such as perlite or vermiculite (perlite is better imho) to avoid that mud-bog look your dirt has

Look i know im looking for help and dont want to seem unfriendy. The way i always grow is like this with soil in pot no stones or perlite. I usually get up to 2 oz dry per palnt with no problems, mind you that was in miracle grow soil but i cant find that now and had to put up with this. Now the 2 big plants and the small 1 in the middle are recued from my hydroponics failure. The 4 seeds you see are crosses of nevilles haze and blue mystic, the little 1 near the shower door is a freak its not going right at all, I will try the method you described withe the bigger pot and the superthrive. Thanks for the help.

I dunno about a bigger pot... a pot that is too large will actually give you a plant that has crazy roots and less foliage for a while! Your first task is to improve your drainage, really. The plants will thank you.

strangely enough all plants out in my garden and in the feilds and woods are growing in the soil worms com out of. Im going to start a new thread on this subject. I firmly know that growing in soil alone produces excellent plants, im going to post some pics when i start this thread of a friends plants, that are grown like this and has done for years, I have been growing like this for years i know it might not be the proper way but its the way they grow in mother natures land and the bud tastes supreme no feeds and just soil. Its the hydro that spoiled these bigger plants I thought hydro was meant to be easier than soil, this is not true. I will listen to what people have said and what they have to say, IM NOT TRYING TO MAKE ENEMIES HERE, more air in the soil would be better I agree with that. how am i going to get the plants out of that soil and into some soil with clay pebbles without damaging the roots.:hippy:

OUtdoor and indoor growing couldn't be more different.
You have to provide even better conditions than the plnats would have had outdoors!
Teh plants even respond differently to lighting indoors (exposure to moonlight doesn't bother outdoor plants a bit!)
I guess you don't want any advice... lol at the soil that fishing worms came in... I thought that too!

Thats the soil we get in ireland and thats some of the best, westland soil. Although miraclegrow soil is the best i have ever used but i cant find that anymore.

I think you have a magnesium deficiency. You pick up some cal/mg and that should clear up. In flowering alot of plants don't get enough Mg.
