12/12 watering??

My lights have recently been set back to 12/12 about a week and a half ago, and im pretty sure the watering cycle is suppose to change as well...does anyone have any good advice on when to water with the lights at 12/12?? also, does anyone know if trimming unneccesary foliage during this time is more harmful than helpful?? helpful responses are greatly appreciated.

dont trim, and water at the same time but with bloom booster in mid to late flowering.

do not water until the soil is dry. amoisture meter is a helpful tool. I trimmed the big fan leaves on my first female and all growth stopped. I will never do that again. It may be worthwhile to trim the little bitty buds off the bottom which have no light and will never grow very big.
