depends how often u use it, i scrape my pipe about 1 every3 weeks or so and im a heavy smoker. personally, i like it to get really resinated.

I scrape my resin whenever my pipe clogs (not often at all) or when I'm outta herb (much more common)...

i said it somewhere else before...if you're like an every day smoker try to wait about 3 weeks so it gets built up nice and good, or after about every ounce...two if you want it extra thick....also you can make resin form faster by dropping a drop or two of water on the weed before you spark up....i read somewhere that resin tends to form in more moist/damp enviroments...i tested this theory and it does work....gives you the nice black liquid resin...veeeeeeeeeryyyyyy yummy!
