This guy is my number one inspiration to pick up a guitar.

His lyrics are filled with infinite sadness, which is why the lyrics he wrote was so beautiful. A great songwriter, it's sad he took his own life, but what he left behind can be treasured forever.

Awh... Elliott Smith.. Awh.. He'll always remain as one of my favourite music artists ever :( His songs are so pretty. One of the greatest lyricists of our time methinks. We were lucky to have him :(

its actually debated whether or not he killed himself or his girlfriend killed him. a lot of things that have to do with his death are contradictory. his stab wounds were inconsistent with self inflicted wounds.
