Alright. The color of the urine is the main problem with dilution method.

But what if you were to replace something else with water? Like say, gatorade. Or any drink. Would it still work if you drank enough? Or would it not make you pee as much as water does and not work?

What if you mixed a drink with water, like orange juice or gatorade or something? Would that affect the color of your pee?

I need to get a job and I'm sure I'll have to pass a drug test, so dilution is the way I'd prefer to pass.

Most jobs just do urine tests right? What about oral ones?

You need to read the dilution sticky by IAmN2POT at the top of this forum. First of all, you urine can be clear as bottled water and pass with flying colors. Color is the least important thing. Many people who take instant tests like those for probation/court worry about color because some PO's will send it off to a lab if it is clear. You cannot fail on color alone. Most employers use lab testing so color is the least of your worries. What is important so that you do not appear dilute is specific gravity and creatinine clearance. That sticky will tell you everything you need. Make sure you read at least his first two posts.
