I linked through to Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds at Buy Marijuana Seeds and cannabis seeds from Holland - high quality marijuana seeds (cannabis seeds) (http://www.amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com) I ordered 10 seeds of their Californian Skunk. The seeds arrived in a timely manner. Also included was an extra pack of 10 seeds which they advertised I would get. The extra pack just looks to be like 10 more Californian Skunk seeds because both packs were labeled with "CAL".

Anyway. I placed 4 seeds between paper towels and placed in a zip-lock bag and added R.O. water. I did this just like I have germinated seeds in the past. However now I am gonig on the 6th day and NONE, ZERO, ZIP have germinated. The seeds that I received looked alot greener than I was expecting but wasn't going to throw them away because they were green.

I went back to Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds website and wrote them an email through their site telling them of my situation and included my order number. Well... I have been waiting and they are not contacting me back. I am starting to feel like I just got ripped off.

I will try and start the germination on 6 more seeds now and see what happens. I don't want to slam the company just yet as I would like to get this resolved and give them a true chance to resolve it. I just know that until it is resolved I will NOT be ordering any more seeds from this company, nor would I recommend to anyone else to order from them!

I will update this thread so that people can see what happens to see if they want to order from this company or not. Good Luck to all... and hopefully to me too.

Peace

They could be contaminated, the temp might not be right.

I ordered their Holland's Hope and Purple Power.... PP never arrived and their customer service said it might have been seized, though since I'm in Canada I question whether seeds are seized at customs here. Anyhow. My Holland's Hope germinated fine... I just germinated another six of them. I took the seeds and scuffed the edge with a sharp knife to help the root come out... at least the HH I found to have a ridiculously hard shell. Anyhow. Maybe take one of your ungerminated seeds and crack it open with some tweezers and see if the root has started to grow on the inside. Good luck!

Yeah I've had to do that before. Some strains CAN take over a week to germ. Also, what's your temp? Get up to 75 for sprouting...cold temps=slow!!!

My temp is at about 80 degrees. These are the exact same conditions that I have germed at before. But the Amsterdam seeds just arnt doing anything, just like their customer service!

JEEPERS fishman.... ! That's harsh... they coulda at least just took the seeds instead of ruining them and then sending them on to rub your nose in the ouchfactor. I've noticed that the seeds I order from inside the country (Dr. Greenthumb's and Vancouver Seedbank's stuff) arrive way quicker and a lot safer, IMO. Maybe because it doesn't have to go through customs...? However, I don't know about getting Jack Herer from in-country... never really looked on VS for that kind of stuff since I already knew what I wanted from them. At least I only lost $50, instead of the $300! Goodness... if my expensive strain hadn't made it.... I don't even want to think. I do think, however, that I'm rambling. Better luck next time, eh. Cheerio!

I've never been very impressed with the Jack Herer strain anyway so in my opinion you didn't lose much except some hard-earned bucks. I've never grown it indoors but have outdoors (NCGA's version of J.H.) and it is a decent producer and the flavor is ok but there are better sat's out there...and I have seen it grow inside and sampled the results which were good but to me not worth the space taken that could have been used for AK47 x C99 or a fine Haze.

All IMHO of course.
