Stoned and Meat?

Whenever I go get dinner after smoking and try to eat meat, I can't do it.
I just cant bring myself to bite down on... dead flesh....
I fear that If I ever go to the kitchen on anything more psychedelic, i'll have one hell of a bad trip if I see the meat and might not ever be able to eat it again.
I've heard of this happening to people often, when they finally comprehend the substance they've been fed in their lunchboxes all their lives to be flesh from another living feeling creature.
fast food or pepperoni slices are ok, it usually doesn't register on the dead flesh radar as much as a big rare hunk of tri tip...


Its like theres this initial reaction, and the weed makes you extra sensitive, and also more aware of your subconscious, so you tap into that reaction and never really reach the next stage which is the ego shutting down the subconscious and dictating that it's ok...

I can understand not wanting to eat something with a face, so I don't completely discount the opinions of vegetarians or (the ever so annoying) vegans.

But I've always felt that food that used to have a face, usually tastes so much better. Maybe it's the dash of lost soul, or maybe it's the marinade... but I'll take a steak over a salad any day.

Have no fear though Inferious! You can still get stoned and eat burgers from fast food places! those things barely have any meat in them anyway ;)

I can't understand or comprehend why people feel this way. I love meat. Would I slaughter my own steak? Maybe. Depends on how bad I wanted that steak.

Yeah, i have to agree. I understand why vegetarians dont eat meat, but personally i have no moral qualms whatsoever about eating a dead animal.

I dont begin to claim that humans are any better than animals, and it does bother me the way some producers treat their livestock, but at the end of the day they've been raised for our consumption, and consume them i shall...

I love meat too, stoned or not. My personal thought is that eating other animals is natures way....we certainly aren't the only ones that do it. I agree 100% w/KD that animals need to be treated better....we need much more policing in this area....but I am not against eating meat. I couldn't live off of tofu. :p

Crispis' carnivorous too . I hear ya w/ the tofu W/H , My thai food joint fukd up once -n- made my pad thai w/ tofu . Im laid back passive type ppl. -n- told him "it's cool" try something new . Fuk that pastey nasty stuff. Never again . lol . :wtf4:

I sat in a hospital w/ an I.V feedtube for 11 mos. No solid food , Fukn ice chips -n- water . I missed the hell outa some good red meat . I'd a chased the cow down -n- killed it my damn self .

I kinda know what you're saying, I sometimes get this. Then I remember I enjoy the taste of meat and as I don't like cheese would struggles as a vegetarian, the stoned brain works in mysterious ways...
