Speaking of carbon offsets and shell games, guess where Gore buys his carbon offsets? Well, he buys them from a firm call Generation Investment Management LLP, a tax-exempt U.S. 501(c)3 corporation. The chairman and co-founder is Al Gore. In other words, he buys his carbon offsets from himself. Others who buy these offset are really buying stock in Gore's growing business. You, too, can green up his portfolio, if not Earth itself.

I have little to no respect for Al Gore. In my opinion this guy is using "global warming" to try to stay (or get back in) the spot light. He is pathetically jumping on a band wagon that i bet will all be proved myth in the end (either that or our polution must also be the cause for the global warming that is happening on Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto... wait, or might we just find a common factor like the SUN that could be causing this "issue.")

i know Al Gore is smart considering he did INVENT the internet (hahaha remember that one)! this guy has always been full of it and he always will be. screw him and his cry, WOLF!

i definitely think any step to live in more harmony with this planet is a great one... i hate it when people use a good principle of a cleaner environment to manipulate like Gore is trying to for personal gain.

Even the New York Times says Gore is nuts?????? Lordy Lordy.... All we need now is for Kate Couric to delare the same on the Commie Broadcast System (CBS) Evening News, and its a clean sweep.

This is a no bullshit story about Gore:
When him and Willy were in Washington, Gores son played football for a Catholic high school in surbaban MD if memory serves me correctly. Anyways, his sons team played a friend of mines sons team. We were visiting my friend for the weekend and went to the game that night. Gore fly's into a small regional airport via helicopter. From there, 8 Chevy Surburbans bring him to the stadium, drop him off and escort to the Pressbox and then park along side of stadium.....wait......it gets better.

From where we were seated you had to pass this lineup of Surburbans every trip to the shithouse or concession area. So in 3 seperate trips I made, those Suburbans were sitting there RUNNING for the entire duration of the game. And this asswipe wants me to ride my bike to the market as he does a fly by in his Lear ? Yeah.............sure.........

suhl... it is far from undisputed that global warming is caused by fossil fuel admissions. the UN is a governing body and not a scientific body, so it should stay there, even though it is useless as a governing body now that they proved they have little to no power to back up their threats...

several other planets in our solar system are experiencing global warming as well. since there are no fossil fuels burning on those planets, maybe we should look for a unifying factor like the SUN and related solar issues as the cause. many many scientists are still strongly opposed to the fossil fuel idea. just because one study said YES doesn't make it FACT.

studies in greenland and northern india region are reporting very different finding from the UN study. i read a variety of news sources to avoid getting a completely slanted view of issues...

there are a lot of things coming out disputing Gore's crew's findings and the science they used to come to those conclusions... the jury is still out for me on this one!

nontheless, there is nothing wrong with seeking to be more environmental friendly... just screw the scare tactics to make Gore rich. and screw pretending like IT IS FACT that global warming is stemmed from human causes. it is a relatively new issue and we know very little about it.

Al Gore being the spokes person for global warming makes about as much sense as sending Paris Hilton to Africa to promote abstinence for AIDs prevention. Al's a carbon slut!:D
