wow i am fucked up. what a typo. so great i'll leave it there. any how my idea was to use the computer box as a very consistent, and reliable heat source for seedlings. ( I am not asking .. I am telling... :) i already sprouted 6/6 seeds in a tray on my computer, th4ey are all growing at the same rate, under 1400 watts of HID lighting now. anyhow i got like 50 on there now.. you cheek on them often cuz you are right there. I usually start in paper towels... but this time this worked great.

I have used all sorts of creative shit for bottom heat for seedlings!!!
My current spot o' choice is on top of a properly-functioning ballast- one that is not overheating, lol) but I've also put them in trays over the pilot ligth of my gas stove, and back when I was a cellardweller, on top of the hot water heater. hahaha the only worry is light, so if your heat is good and your light is good, COOL.
yeah 21" monitors work veeery well.

i ussually put them in a sealed jar, and place it on top of one of my hard drives, they get 86F, if u have a case that slides open like mine its nice a warm in your computer, my monitors dont get hot nor does any other part of my computer unless inside.
