Just a massive CFL.. I'm looking at lights as I have 5 seeds in germ right now (bagseed) and am wanting to give growing a shot.

Don't waste your money ,
It only makes 8000 lumens and they are comparing it to a 600w. hps . hid. that makes about 90,000 lumens . You can make your own cfl fixture that makes about 10,000 lumens for $20.00 , or spend your 149.00 on a 250 hps and a small duct fan to cool it w/. Do somemore research before spending any money .

yeh, crispi's right, either buy some cfl strips just to get started, or spend all your money on something worthwhile, it all depends on how you want to grow..

They want 140 bucks for that? and another 15 to ship it? Shit, I only paid 140 for a brand new 400 watt HPS with a 55,000 lumen output. I'd say try looking for that. Or, if you aren't into HID's, 140 bucks will buy a ton of CFL's from wal-mart.
