I just woke up right now, sitting here with my morning cup of coffee, and I'm totally exhausted after another night of waking up every damn hour. It seems if my temperature isn't perfect, like within a half of a degree, my whole night gets ruined. This affects about 50%-60% of my nights.
Basically my problem is that if my room is just slightly too cold, once I fall asleep I wrap myself up in the blankets. That makes me too hot and my body covers itself in a thin film of sweat. So I wake up burning hot inside, and freezing cold on my skin; then I get out of bed and whipe myself down with a towel or tissue (though nothing seems to come off) and I get back into bed so cold I'm shivering...only to wake up 30-60 minutes later with the same thing. Likewise, if the room is slightly too warm the same thing happens, shivering and all.
Does anybody else have this problem? Is my metabolism screwy or something? I'm seriously getting tired of losing over half my night's sleeps, no wonder I have dark circles under my eyes :( .
