Ive been MIA for a while. We were out of town for about a week visiting family, and then 2 days after comming home I had to go to Tenn. because my mamaw was having open heart surgery. This was the 3rd time and the Dr. said she cant have any more. Too much scar tissue and stress, they fear she wouldnt make it a 4th time. She is doing great so far, one of the strongest women I know. The most stressfull part of the trip was riding with my parents up there. They are seperated and my mom used my dad to get us up there, I had to leave my car for my husband, and mom didnt want to drive in Kingsport. Nothing but them insulting each other the whole way up there and back. Family drama sucks.

I havent smoked in 6 weeks until we made our trip to VA to visit family and friends. I smoked 3 times in one day 5 hits each time and was trashed. My tolorence dropped insanely low. Its been about 2 weeks since and I figure if I drink alot of water and keep up the exercise it should be out of my system here soon. I cant wait to get me a job. After the drug test Im going straight to my supplier and getting a bag to celebrate with. I have a few jobs to check on tommorrow, one is a receptionist job at a lumber company and the other is a Office Assistant at a pool and spa place. Im hoping they wont drug test me but they probably will since everyone does anymore. The only places that dont is resturants, and I refuse to work at another one. Thats all I done for 5 years and I cant take another rude person whying about their food because they ordered it wrong.

Just thought I would get on here and say hi and blurt out some things going on in my life right now. Wish me luck on the job hunt, and keep my mamaw in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

HEY, DropeY! :)

I've wondered where you went. I've had this feeling for quite some time that I owed someone some rep...and IT WAS YOU! :D

I'm sorry about your Mamaw. I will be sending good vibes your way. I also wish you good luck in your job search. Hope ya find a fun, well-paying one.

You are also just helping me find more and more reasons why I should probably take a smoke break for a while (haven't really for several years) and sort a few things out so I can bump up my "Getting Caught Up" thread. ;)

Well, glad you're back.

Before I took my break I had been smokeing everyday for along time. I found it way more enjoyable when I smoked after such a long break. Low tolorence level and just a better high. It gave me some time to gather my thoughts and get some things together that I had been procrastnating (sp) about. I think Ill cool it for a while even after I get a job and be a part time toker. I wish there was a job for that.

Well...I dunno about the whole PART TIME toker dealie, there...I think you might be going a bit far. But, I definitely want to slow it down a bit. Part time to me would be about one bowl per night. That would be pretty good. I think it would still bring my tolerance level down a little. BUT, since I use it medicinally as well, I think I might have to use it just a bit (a toke here or there) to keep me feelin Irie. :rastasmoke:

Responsibility is key, though. I work more hours than the average person weekly and raise a family...but manage to keep stuff in some sort of balance. It's not perfect. Could be better, and I'm working on it, but definitely enjoyable now and totally worth it. :)

I wish there was a job for that.

:) There is...but it's about as good as hitting the lotto. :)

Thanks alot guys!! I love this place everyone is so nice and supportive. WHat is killing me is everyone wants a damn resume. I dont have one and have no clue where to start on one. I guess its time to google on how to make the best resume possible. I wonder how I can make fast food experience sound professional. I dont have much more than that and alot of computer (internet browsing, and a few highschool keyboarding classes) and customer service skills. I went today and filled out at application for the lumber company and they will make their decison by monday. Its part time for now but the woman who is hiring is going to be retiring soon so it has the possibility to turn full time with benefits. Looking for a job makes a person tired. I dont think I have smiled as much as I have done today in my whole life. I just hope Im making a good first impression.
