Do you look down on people who dislike weed for the wrong reasons??

We all know that there are a large percentage of people who look down upon weed smokers but it really ticks me off when i hear people sayin shit like "man marijuana is for loosers" in the hallway than in the same conversation be like lets get drunk this weekend. R they retarded?? i personally look down on all people who dislike for the wrong reasons. If someone has asthma and cant smoke anything thats all right but it fuckin pisses me off when dicks think they r being cool talkin shit bout weed when they drink and stuff. Maby that isn't the right mind set but damn people r ignorant these days and i also noticed that if the government are good at anything , it is deseving(<- spelling i know) the inosent. All hail the propoganda machine.

I look down apon those who hate Cannabis due to misinformation and then rejecting any facts supported by the government or not because of their own arrogance.

Though, this does NOT mean I'm saying that everyone should smoke weed, if you don't, you're an idiot; there are plenty of people out there who don't even smoke but at least will acknowledge benefits, and disregard lies and propaganda. My personal favourite example being Bird Girl. I just REALLY hope it doesn't take someone as educated as her to figure at least SOME of the things the government says about cannabis is a lie.

My brother however, is an 18 year old university student and believes marijuana is addictive, that tobacco is better for you, and that there are no medical benefits. His arrogance is practically a distrust to me considering I smoke recreationally and for some medical purposes.

I agree with you Frank. The idea that weed turns you into a no-good, do-nothing stoner is well thought of at my school as true among students, and faculty as far as I know. For example, guy gets a test back, failed, says "I must have been smokin dope when I took this test" and I say "I've been baked 1/2 the time I come to this class, do all my homework at home after smoking a bowl, and I got an A man". Even people that I know used to enjoy smoking but stopped because they don't want to be known as stoners. It just pisses me off when people talk shit about something they know nothing about, and if I say anything they just say, "well you're just fucking stupid anyways because you smoke it, stoner"

All my (non smoking) mates (meaning i have mates that smoke as well) are like constantly acting as if i am stupid for smoking and like when i try to talk them into smoking its like they lok down at me, its getting annoying and while i am trying to cram their heads wiht good facts about weed they are all a bit unbelieving and proper ... i think the right term is BRAINWASHED...

The reason tobacco is legal and weed isn't is because the government can't really make much money off of legalization. If they were to legalize it they wouldn't be able to controll it very well because anyone can grow themselves at their house and be sufficient with it. Tobacco however, is not easily and sufficiently grown. Thus, a pack of cigs is somethin like 3.65$ and the government gets a nice $3.20 chunk of that in taxes.

yeah i know a lot of people like this around my school. you should see some of the posters that kids made and my health teacher hung up around the room. i'm all for the ones that are against smoking cigerettes but the stuff that the ones with weed on them say is just rediculous. i'll write some of their "creative slogans" down tomarow and bring them here to share so we can all have a good laugh. lol.

the government simply won't admin their mistake for banning marijuana, it would make them look bad. fuck them all, i dont really care if some person who means nothing to me hates me for a harmless plant- on the contrary, it makes me feel pitty for them.

It really pisses me off more than anything, really. If everyone was as enlightened as we are, the government would be forced to make some kind of change. I think a problem also is that many people who support or smoke weed aren't open about it. The only people that non-smokers see who they know smoke weed are usually those burnouts around school who come to class when they feel like it or drop out. Which isn't reflective of tokers as a whole.

I know alot of ignorant people and some that don't know anything and then there are some that think we need it for medical purposes. I have talk a good amount of kids into seeing the truth from thinking it kills and is addictive. I have also had to deal with people who think it is worse than crack. Then there are those who say it ruins lifes, and only kills you and gives cancer and are to ingnorant to change or even look at the other side.

I'm friends with a lot of people who don't smoke. But they're the cool kind that don't care if I do. I try not to associate myself with those who try to convince me that its so dangerous and stupid. They're mostly asshole emo kids anyway so it doesn't bother me.

The other day this pastor tried to tell me and a bunch of others that marijuana was 5 times as worse as tobacco and that god says not to do it BLAH BLAH BLAH and i told him that if god cared who smoked a plant put on the earth for what looks like its main purpose to me is to be smoked, god would have said plain and clear like the ten commandments that he dident want us to do that and then i showed him the the passage in the bible about how god put all plants and animals on earth for man and i read the part that says even the GREEN HERB and he was speachless. ha ha then he said u can tell me all the things about it u want its not going to change my outlook on it, and i said good then u wont expect me to change my own opinion then :D

Yeah, one of my best friends tells me smoking is lame and then turns around asking if I want to goto Daytona and get wasted this weekend. This is the same persion that totalled his car flying over the median DRUNK knocking over trees and shit, got his car out of the ditch and drove it home as a fire truck passed him (probably going to his accident).
