"*week 4/5 of flower. drop ph to 5.4 to make PK nutes more available to plants. increase the ph each week .1... i.e. wk4-ph5.4, wk5 ph5.5, wk6 ph5.6, wk7 ph5.7, wk 8 5.8 finish...Again; If you require longer finishing time, You hold off on this ph transition.
**most of the time, calmag+/LK will buffer the water's ph and you don't have to adjust."

Can you please explain how dropping the Ph makes PK nutes more available to the plants. I am starting my 5th week today and I am thinking about trying this only because I feel that LW has the green thumb and knows what the flip he is talking about but I am just wondering the science behind this method. MisterE grew the same gonja I am growing right now and I believe prime pickens was around 60-65 days so this plan should work out perfect.

the roots take in different nutrients at different ph levels.

This chart shows a slight difference in the P pH level.

It seems phosphorous uptake peaks at around 5.9 to 6.5, depending on who you ask. I think 5.4 might be low for P uptake. That is assuming my sources are accurate.
