Empty Rep responses?

I went to read some of my reps from people and some of them are blank. Not all but a few and i was wondering why since whenever i rep someone it says I must write something....wtf?

Actually...I think people just gave you rep without putting anything in the box. Apparently you don't HAVE to write something...

I love rep, ive gotten messages so funny, I laugh my ass off for minutes, some with just some random jokes, but I love when people leave more of a personal message than no message or one like "LOL"
