Why is my resin sparking when I hit it?

whats going on ladies and gentlemen, I just had me a nice resin bowl and must say that I'am quite baked right now. Im just curious, everysingle time I scrape for resin and hit the resin, the shit sparks and makes a crackling noise when I hit it, anybody knows what is up with that? does all resin do this? I should know this cause I'm a complete stoner and I scrape for resin whenever its needed. Thanks for the help :rasta:

it probably has to do with the combustability of resin.
