I found a hermie yestarday, it was the only strain that i had. I have 10 other plants in the same room and i'm really concerned right now, i never had a hermie nor any male plants to deal with.
The plant was about 4 weeks into flowering (DAMNIT) and of course it was the most healthy and beautiful one. i found two flowers that were not completly open yet. The "banana" was split in a half but as far as i know a full mature male flower splits up into more openings. My question is, am i under risk of having my plants pollenated? I killed the hermie right away, and carefuly removed it from the grow room. As i said the floers were not completly open yet, but i wonder if it's just slightly split in a half if that's enough? If anyone knows anything please let me know, i'm going crazy. My babies are about 4 weeks from being done, god i hope i cought it in the nick of time.

AS LONG AS YOU REMOVED THE MALE PLANT YOU SHOULD BE FINE JUST KEEP ON CHECKING ON THE FEMALES...AND IF POSSIBLE POST A PIC OR 2 OF THE FEMALE PLANTS

there isnt any html i belive, u can upload pictures directly with in the "go advance". Yes u are in risk of pollenating your plants, however i have dealt with hermies before and kept them and got no seeds in naything, teh situation may be different tho for you, your best bet is to chop it if you have more plants flowering, decided if its worth loosing a plant, or loosing a little potency.

so if i killed the hermie yestarday; say they did get pollenated, how soon i will be able to recognize that?
