Influencing Sex?

Hi all-

I'm wondering if there is any way to influence the sex of a bud plant (preferably female). Different people keep telling me conflicting things...Does anyone know anything that actually works?
I have 7 seedlings, and 5 look good to go, the other 2 are ok but I'm keeping my eye on them. They are about 3 days old now... Is it likely I won't get any females?

you will usually get atleast 50 percent females often more than 50 percent will be females, wouldnt worry about influencing the sex, im sure you will have several females out of 7 plants

ok thanks. this is my trial run before the setup in the fall...I just wanted to make sure that I could patch all the advice and reading together and grow healthy plants, before I sank hundreds into a sweet grow room.

unfortunatly ive come to realize, its 100 times easier to influence male and hermie plants then females. heat and light can play a huge role in males and hermies so watch out!

well the problem is that I'm on central heating (about 75 in the day, 70-ish at night. The lights give some heat, so I think the temps are near constant. I'll ty to get some pics up in 24 hours. Thanks.
