So some kid in my school, one of my friends in a way, got the shit beat out of him over 600 dollars of drug (weed) money. This is rediculous...

To start off, the kid had a concussion from the weekend before (snowboarding. He got hit in the eye with a PVC pipe (in the kid's fist), he got knocked out, fell and hit his eye on the floor which shattered the bone under his eye. A helicopter was flown in to take him to the hospital and now he needs plastic surgery. I'm not sayin' he didn't have it coming, because it's his nature to fuck over people (not to this extent tho) but JESUS, would YOU break someone's face over 600 bucks?

First let me say that I understand more than you might think about the illeagality of weed. Been smokin for 32 years,had more than my share of "The System" because of it (Nothing like losing nearly $70,000 bucks,House,2 Cars over weed,thanks to LEO) Spent more than one nite in the hooscaw as you can imanigne also.
This being said,If weed wer'nt worth so much money in peoples minds (Since When is a simple plant worth $480-$640 an Oz?) then the profiteers would go somewhere else,simple. yes it anainst the law,but if we as smokers simply refused to pay these outta control prices,then sooner or later the price would come down.Law of supply and demand,simple.

I agree with you. Make love not war. However, there is also a saying that goes "Playing with my money is like playing with my emotions." People don't like to be made fools of and a thief does exactly that.

I've had $100 taken from me in that exact same way, and you better believe I would gladly do the same to this person if given the chance.

In a business like drug dealing, you HAVE to fucking know what you're getting yourself into. Even if you play it straight and always hook it up fat, never no BS, you should still know theres dirtbags out there that will fuck you over in a heart beat.

I would, I mean, thats a lot of money, I was going to get into it for just $80, but my dealer was cool with it and were friends again. Know that in the dealing business, you must know what your getting into, A family member of mine, dealt some hardcore drugs (and adult, mid 30's not like a cousin, close family) and he had a gun, high security in his house, didnt trust anyone, watched who came into his house, and made sure he had backup in every situation.

I cant say I feel sorry, thats the business and you really have to keep your rep up, thats the way life is. about 3 months ago i was dealin a good amount of weed. I was on a normal sale (quarter pound) when i got a gun pulled on me. I got all my pot robbed from me, my wallet with $250, license, and spare key to my car. There was absolutely nothing i could have done... I went from making it in the business to just a lowly middleman/dimebag dealer trying to pay off my debts. I had to hide my car for a month and I still am always looking over my shoulder

Yea, I can see someone getting hurt for ripping someone else for $600, but under the circumstances, that kid who assaulted him was being a dick. First, I would've resorted to talking first, confront him about it and find out why the fuck he's not paying me back. If he was obviously trying to rip me off, next comes the warning, then the beating. And I'd be smart enough not to get caught.
